    Business Response

    Date: 09/24/2024

    Good Afternoon-

I have read the inquiry and spoken to my estimator, ********* *******. I asked her to provide a time line of events which I have included as an attachment. We are not clear on the disputed amount as the current contract is $40,114.49, and the ************* have paid $34,501.17 of that figure. Payment of the balance ($5,613.32) is requested as this time. The singular resolution sought by the customer is to "finish the job" but we have finished all of the approved scope of work from their insurance carrier. (The contract of $40,114.49 is based on the estimate from the insurance carrier) My understanding is that the ************* want their carpeting to be replaced, but we do not dictate the scope of work, the insurance carrier does that, and the carrier has not allowed for carpet replacement in their estimate. They DID allow for pad replacement and for the existing carpet to be restretched, and we have done exactly that. I am more than willing to discuss any other reasons as to why the ************* are not paying their bill - and I am here if you as the BBB have any further questions.

    Respectfully,

    ******* *******
