    Had a new thermostat installed November 8, 2023. Did not work properly. House was consistently around 55 degrees when set to aux heat (heat pump). Company is refusing to warranty work, saying everything was installed properly.

    You had A-Temp come in after we installed the thermostat and they removed it and the wiring work our tech did. We let you know we would have warrantied our work but you called someone else instead who undid everything. When we asked why you didn't call us you said that you weren't able to schedule us online before today and A-Temp was available (also online) sooner. Also you have a service contract with them the whole time so we are not sure why we became involved to begin with, when you have multiple contractors involved at the same time it makes it difficult to provide the best possible service. Backing up our work and helping to the best of our abilities are our priorities. You still have the thermostat that we installed, we would suggest having A-Temp reinstall it or keep the original one they put back on. We haven't charged you for the last visit and we cannot refund you for the thermostat because you still have possession of it.

    So I have a service fee dispute. My technician came out a week ago to service our HVAC unit telling me there was a potential small leak in the unit and that they can search for it but his suggestion was to just fill up the unit with ***** and we should be good to go but we should call them to get the potential leak looked at. Fast forward to two days later and our Freon was all used up and we had them come back out and look at it tell us we have a leak and we could have it repaired here is the estimate. Our question to them is why should we be charged for the extra Freon after the technician said we should be ok. They seem to keep dodge our questions with the quote now for 5 days.
