    Date of Transaction: Oct. 27, 2024 Item: ******** Bed, **** - Persimmon Received one part of the bed(the rails) on 10/31, 2024. Reached out to Schoolhouse concerning the missing head and foot board. Their customer support person was not able to provide any details regarding the missing parts. I requested a tracking number for the box. Not available.I waited...Nov. 7th I let Schoolhouse know that I still had not received the missing head and foot board. They did not have answers still.Nov. 11 reached out again, no response Nov. 14 reached out again, no response Received a phone call stating they were delivering the bed on Nov. 18, bed was delivered on Nov. 18 I closed the dispute with my credit card company stating that I had finally received the missing parts to the ******* a message from Schoolhouse on Nov. 20 stating that they were issuing a refund for the bed.I let them know on Nov 22 in a follow up email that I had received the bed and did not need a refund.They replied on Nov 22 stating that I had to return the bed and that they understand how I would like to keep it but due to them issuing the refund I had to return it.I responded back that I am at a loss for how to proceed as I simply wanted to keep the bed I ordered and I am happy to pay for it. They still want me to return it.

    I ordered a table online from Schoolhouse listed as in stock on 10/15. After two weeks I emailed to ask when it would ship. The reply was that it had shipped with a delivery date of 11/07. I called the shipping company to verify the delivery date and they said it was still at schoolhouse and they need to release the item to them so they can ship it. I am receiving unhelpful bot replies from schoolhouse when I email them for help. There is no customer service to assist. The shipping company cant ship my item and schoolhouse bot replies that it has shipped.

    My complaint is exactly like the other complaints at BBB. I ordered an expensive lamp ($680) on August 28th and was told it would arrive between September 25 and October 9th. They billed my card immediately. On October 4th I contacted Schoolhouse and they replied with the same information--that it would be delivered between September 25 and October 9. By October 15th I still had not received the lamp and inquired again. They said it would be delivered on October 25. At this point, I became very suspicious and also, had planned to leave the delivery location for several months, and would not be around to receive and vet the product. I asked them to cancel the order, explaining my circumstances. They did not respond and instead notified me that the lamp would be delivered on October 19th. As I would not be around to receive, vet, and probably return the lamp, and was also very suspicious about the company at this point, having read other similar BBB reviews, I posted signs to refuse delivery (which did not work) and initiated a chargeback with ***** This is the single worst online shopping experience I have ever experienced. I will be contacting the *** to initiate an investigation into the fraudulent and deceptive practices of Schoolhouse. I only wish I had read the BBB reviews before ordering.

    I ordered a very expensive king ***** with two matching king ****** They ended up sending a queen ***** with two king ****** I have tried a multitude of times to get ahold of them, and they are just ghosting me. All I want is to exchange for a king ***** and have them honour the sale price I had when purchasing. This is what a normal ethical company would do, but they just don't care. I have spent ****** for bedding I can't use. So now I have to waste time disputing this and getting chargeback with my credit card company, which I will be doing tomorrow. I have a good following on my decor blog and on IG, you can bet I will be alerting folks NOT to purchase from School house electric. Thanks for nothing.

    I returned an item to them and got an email confirmation that the return was received and completed on May 6th, 2024 and that a store credit would be issued via email. I never received the store credit, and have been following up week after week asking about it to no response. I have never dealt with anything like this before, store credits should be automatically provided to customers once returns are accepted.

    Schoolhouse lighting, sent me completely the wrong item as well as an incomplete order and is nonresponsive to refunding my money. I spent almost $900.

    Update 4/27/2024: Schoolhouse stopped responding to our requests in the past two weeks. We were able to file a complaint through Pay Pal (our original payment method) and were just notified that our money would be refunded. We will never order from this company again and feel like consumers should be warned.

    I placed an order for an item on Schoolhouse Electric website for a shower curtain. I placed the order on April 11, 2024 under order #*******. The total was $79.80. I received the confirmation that the order would ship soon. After no response or updates I sent an email on April 17, 2024 as there is no phone number listed on the website to call. No one has responded to the email and the order has still not shipped.

    Purchase in stock item online from Schoolhouse on March 16. Have not received any tracking information or indication when it will be shipped as of April 12. Contacted customer service on March 28 and was told several days later that my item was scheduled for completion on April 8 which has now passed with no change. I have contacted Schoolhouse through PayPal to request a refund but have not heard anything. They have had $83.09 of my money for almost a month now. This is not a legitimate business.

    On November 24, 2023 I placed an order with schoolhouse. Shipping was over $100. A month after placing order nothing had been shipped out. I reached out and they said February. Once Feb. came still nothing so I reached out again. This time they said March 18th. Still my order shows nothing has been fulfilled. I reached out for a refund and to cancel my order and they said it has been sent to fulfillment. My order page shows nothing of this sort- still is the same as November 22, I have no shipping info and no timeline of my order. I dont want to deal with this business anymore and I want to cancel and refund my order IT HAS STILL NOT BEEN SHIPPED. This should absolutely be possible. Had I known I would be strung along for over 4 months I would have never placed this order
