We get our auto and home insurance through **** Humphrey's Statefarm agency. We sold our townhome in ******** on 4/2/2021 but our mortgage company had also paid insurance premium for the townhome for 2021 *****. Statefarm's policy needed for us to send closing documents to the agency before they could terminate the policy. We had to move a couple of times between these dates and did not notice that we had paid the premium already for a policy that we did not need at all until Mar/Apr 2022. It took us a few months to find the closing doc but we did send them the docs on 12/16/2022 but now they are saying they can only refund back up to an year, that is 12/16/2021. We had paid them a premium for a townhome we did not own/could claim any damages for from 4/2/2021 to 12/16/2021. We are yet to receive the refund (don't know how much it will be).We believe we need to be refunded the amount from 4/2/2021 to 12/16/2021 as well since Statefarm wasn't providing any services for us for the townhome during that time. We should be refunded all the premium ($865) we paid since 4/6/2021. Please help us with our issue.State Farm Policy #: ************************
