      My Sharp drawer microwave died before I had used it for a year. I started the process to get it repaired/replaced in September. It has been a constant borage of calls and emails to them, only to seldom get a response. The microwave was originally purchased during COVID. It was on back order for many many months. It arrived and then sat in their warehouse for nearly a year before it was installed. I used THEIR preferred Sharp Licensed installers - ***** ******** ( who were great by the way) to increase my warranty by 2years as was highly recommended by my sales person. Install occurred in March of 2022, we took possession of the home Oct 2022 and the microwave stopped working Sept 2023. ***** is refusing to replace it saying its past their warranty. They are counting the days from when it was delivered to their warehouse as when my warranty started!!! I also was not reminded to purchase an extended warranty with Sharp for the microwave by Basco. It had been 2 years later and I had no idea I had to purchase an extended warranty. I believed and understood I had the extended warranty from using THEIR LICENSED INSTALLERS. I bought all my appliances from Basco. Sub zero fridge, all Meile appliances x 6!! Even the coveted steam oven You do the math. It was a huge expense. And with that, I cannot get a reply or any communication from them other than an offer to let me BUY ANOTHER ONE AT THEIR COST Its SO outrageous. THEY NEED TO REPLACE THIS. THEY NEED TO COMMUNICATE AND STOP IGNORING ME AS IF I WILL JUST GO AWAY. I went through the holidays with no microwave- its first world problems but its SO FRUSTRATING. Sadly, I DO NOT recommend Basco Appliance. Its been a major let down for customer service. I thought ************ Brand and high end would come with luxury high end customer service. What a mistake. This has been the worst customer service in my life. And Im not kidding. I wish I had gone anywhere else!

      The Sharp Microwave Drawer manufacturer's warranty starts the date that the microwave is installed. The manufactures warranty is for a total of one year. Additional years of warranty based on using a certified installer only applies to certain brands. Because the issues with his microwave started well after the warranty had expired, the Sharp company denied the request for replacement. The BASCO **************** team worked with the local distributor (Almo) to attempt to get the customer concessions. The distributor referred us back to *****, who was not willing to help the customer. ********************** has decided to assist the customer with this request, even though the manufacturer or distributor were not willing to, by exchanging this unit for a new one.

      Terrible Service. Don't buy from them. They delivered damaged product and won't respond to replace the damaged part.

      On May 3, 2022, we put down a deposit of $2,500 to BASCO Appliances for a GE Cafe Oven. According to the sales person, *********************, the oven should be delivered to our home in July. In July, we e-mailed and telephoned ***** several times to check on the status of the oven. We got no reply. However, two months later, ***** called to say that the oven would be delivered on September 14th. Thus, after our purchase of the oven, virtually all communication from representatives of BASCO Appliances ceased. Because no installation came with our purchase, we used a preferred installer of BASCO Appliances, Platinum Appliance Installation. After installing the oven, ************************* (of PAI) noted that two of the oven racks did not fit the model. After registering our oven, we contacted BASCO Appliances. We were referred to **** in their ***************************** She asked that we forward pictures to her of the inappropriate racks. After doing so, she said, "I'm going to get you the right ones. I'll give you an up-date tomorrow." "Tomorrow" never came. Twelve days later, my wife e-mailed **** again to determine the status of the racks.On October 19th, I drove to BASCO Appliances with the two incorrect racks. At the front desk I asked for a problem solver. **** came forward and we went into the showroom to see if we could simply take two racks out of a floor model. **** did give me a rack from a floor model. However, when I got home it did not fit our model.In summary, there has been a total lack of communication and follow-through on the part of the staff at BASCO Appliances. After five and one-half months, we are still waiting for a fully functioning oven.
