    Providence and *************************** do not communicate very well after someone's bill has been forgiven. $250 bill was forgiven by Providence through financial assistance, however, my info was sent to *************************** before the financial aid paperwork was shared with **** services. Called Providence **** services got the billed cleared and they promised to have my info removed by ******************** the next several weeks I got calls but eventually it stopped and then started again. I followed up again with Providence and they promised to get it fixed. Calls/Text stopped for a bit but started again. I followed up again and was promised they would stop and they did but eventually started again. I called again and was told they reached out to *************** but would have someone or special team follow up with *************************** to get this. corrected. I continue to get calls/texts from ***************. I would like these calls/text to stop and for Providence to review their SOP between them and *************** because it is obvious that the current system is not working.

    Be advised the BBB Complaint Letter mailed to Providence was addressed to **** *******. **** has not been an employee of Providence for over 5 years. Therefore, said letter was delayed in getting to me thus delaying the formal response back to BBB. I am now actively working with the appropriate party to ascertain what has been done to mitigate the complainant's concern.     I was unable to locate the ** through your portal to reply and for some reason the access code supplied for this case did not work for me.

    Providence Home Medical Equpment was able to resolve this concern for our patient.

    I have applied for, and received, charity care coverage of my Providence bills -- twice. *********************, who personally attended to my applications, told me when I asked, that yes, my bills from Providence Home Medical Equipment (DME) , should be covered by this. However, Providence billed me last December, which I paid, and is billing me again. This is dishonest, or lying, or perjury, or double-dipping. Last January 2022, an agent with Providence Home Medical told me in answer to my question that Providence ************ does not cover my bills from them. However, last June 2022, ********************* assured me in answer to my question, that yes, Providence Home Medical bills should be covered by the charity care. All of the services billed would fall into one of the time periods covered by the charity care. The charity care covers previous bills. Apparently Providence Home Medical is either too dishonest, too incompetent, too ignorant, or too unethical to be trusted to answer honestly, to respect its own charity care, or to stop double-dipping.
