Tue, May 14, 2024, we sought piano moving service from this company to move our ****** N2 Hybrid piano from ****** OR to ************. The original negotiated price was $1496.9. On the pick up day, they flipped our piano without any protection, leaving scratches to it. We accepted a $300 off at the time thinking it was the only issue. Upon delivery the next day, the keys were stuck and the piano was hence unplayable. Over a week later, May 25, a technician finally came and found the issue that due to the flipping, four of the inner speakers fell on the hammers, two of them dented and broken. The technician told us this was caused by the move and he'd request replacement and bill to the company. On May 29th, the moving company refused to cover the cost of replacing because they claim the "issue was resolved" because there is now sound coming out from the piano, completely neglecting any damage to the sound quality caused by the broken speakers. In addition, they even made false accusation that "could have fallen off at any point during any kind of movement", completing washing out their responsibility. My wife constantly records her lessons on this piano since it was moved in and we have recordings from 4 years indicating the piano never had any issue or was moved one bit. The company was dishonest from the beginning. Before the move, we had asked about getting a contract to look at and we were told there wasn't one. Then at the pick up day, they presented a form to my wife that specified we either have our own insurance or accept the one they offer: $0.6 per pound. We were less aware of the business and totally unprepared to get our piano properly insured because they refused to show us the contract ahead of time, effectively leaving us no choice but opt for their default. With our piano weighting about 300 pounds, they were initially only willing to give us $150 for the cosmic scratch. In the end, we spent $1196.6, with our piano scratched, speakers broken.

I contracted with this moving company to move some furnishing from my bosses home in ********, ****** to a storage facility 1 mile away on Monday, 9/11/23. I then contracted with this company to move my bosses items from the storage facility back to his home in ********, ****** on Thursday, 10/26/23.When the furnishings were brought back three couch cushions were missing from one couch. I spoke with the two young men on Thursday 10/26/23 and asked about the cushions. They had no idea and said maybe they were packed. I opened every box, no couch cushions. I called the company on Tuesday, 10/31/23 at 11:18am and spoke with *****. I explained the situation and ***** said he would have ****** call me. I received no call. I called again on Wednesday, 11/1/23 at 1pm and spoke with a young lady. I received no call from ******. I called again on Monday, 11/6/23 and spoke with ******. I asked how I file a claim and he immediately sent me to *****'s voicemail. When I pressed '0' to be taken back to the que, the call went to voicemail. I am asking West Coast Moving and Storage to pay the .60 cents per pound of what the couch weighs since it is unusable. An average couch weighs 300 pounds so the minimal payment would be $180.
