    Date of Service- 11/24/2021 I had an MRI done and informed them that I only had one insurance Aetna at the time thru my husband *****************************.I had previously had ****************** thru my previous employer that I retired from and it ended 09/31/2021 Policy number 199409.I talked to ****************** and they confirmed the end date for my health care policy.I also talked to ********* Airlines and they also said because I never paid a premium after my retirement that I also didn't ever have Cobra.02/2023 I noticed that Clearview had filed a collection against me and I called them and they told me that ***** had paid them and then Aetna thought I had another insurance, so they took their money back. Clearview never reached out to me to verify this information. So I called Aetna and they said to have Clearview reprocess the claim and they would pay it. I called Clearview back and they never resubmitted a claim to *****.Fast forward to this year and 6/2024 I called Clearview again because it's back on my credit, I talked to ********* and she informed me it's too late to rebill Aetna because it's been two years and they said I have to pay it in cash to make it go away off my credit. This is what she said her boss said.This isn't my fault that they didn't rebill Aetna. This is the company's responsibility, not mine. They dropped the ball and now they can't rebill because they waited to long to do so. The credit company they used is Choice Recovery in the amount of $1662. This company needs to take this off my credit. Actually a letter of apology for stressing me out would be nice, but I doubt that will happen. They should have rebilled in a timely matter and instead they sent it to a collection agency and I never heard another thing about it until I looked at my credit.The fact is I told them in 02/2023 when I saw it on my credit the first time who to rebill and they never did so. So, this is their problem now.Thank you,*****

In reviewing your concerns,it appears we have exhausted our efforts to settle this matter and have done extensive work with your insurance company to get this resolved. ******************************** has declined to reprocess the claim. Your *************** has taken back the payment originally made, leaving the balance patient responsibility. Weve offered to settle this for less than 35% of the balance owed.
