    We hired Insight Pet Solutions Portland, LLC to get rid of a rat infestation in January 2025 at our rental home. The technicians came for a couple of months and could not get rid of all of the rats. The technician and his supervisor spoke with my general contractor and said they could not get rid of all of the rats and that we should discontinue service. Insight continued to bill me for three months after that. I called to ask why they didn't cancel the service per the instructions of the technician and supervisor and they didn't seem to know about that conversation. A contractor's lockbox was on the home in March and we sold the home in April of 2025 and Insight said we are still liable for the payments even though we cancelled. As far as I know, services were not rendered during the that time since the technicians did not have the code to the lockbox. I wouldn't deal with this company - very unprofessional. Also, they are supposed to come back every week to empty the traps but they rarely completed that task.

    ***** and I had the chance to speak about this issue and I believe that we were able to come to a good conclusion. There was a little bit of miscommunication as to the cancelation. Not anyone persons fault. We did find that working with her contractor we were able to get to a good point on getting better control of the rat situation and then the home was sold. There were a couple of extra payments taken out because of the miscommunication and they will be refunded. I appreciate ***** taking the time to work with me.

    We had a "cold call" salesman on our doorstep when my wife and I stopped by the house on the way to a concert from Insight Pest Control. We listened to his spiel and the offer sounded reasonable. He was waiving sign up fee (I think it was $300) and could begin service that week at a rate of $59.99 per visit for quarterly service. If there are any issues between quarterly services, they'll come out, free of charge to apply product. Quick math told me it would be roughly $240/yr and that was not outrageous. I verified with him it was $59.99 quarterly and NOT MONTHLY. He said yes. I agreed and signed up. They came out the next day, put out product for all the areas we identified. I noticed more white flies last week and had them come out to re-apply to that area. They came out and did their thing. Today I get an e-mail with a charge from Insight for $59.99. I called to ask why. They said it's the recurring MONTHLY charge. I said, Uh uhh.... I would not have signed up for $720/yr, I was quoted $59.99 quarterly. They won't refund me, they won't let me out of my "contract" without a $630 penalty. I'm livid and want everyone to be forewarned. Do NOT give them your Cc# and signature if you feel $720 annually is too much for pest control. If that seems reasonable to you; go for it. I'm not pleased.

    **** was able to speak with one of our representatives and they were able to get everything ironed out. I was also able to speak with **** and he was happy with the outcome. Thank you

    We began our service with Insight almost 2 years ago. In that time we have no evidence of a pest problem. They are not the cheapest option but I would not consider switching at this time. They call a few days ahead of their quarterly service and are always on top of things. I have always had a great experience when speaking with their representatives in person and over the phone.

    Insight **** Services in the Pacific NW is administered in ***********, **. When you call that office, it sounds like they have fifty telephone operators in a small enclosed area with everybody talking as loud as possible. Communications with the call center are bad, but dealing with the Portland office is also difficult. I was lured in by their false military veteran "friendly" claims.I agreed to quarterly pest control service in SW Portland. At that time, I asked them to mail a copy of the contract to me, but they did not. The email link to the contract did not work. It cost $350.00 to set up the first inspection/treatment and after that no work has been required on a monthly basis. They sprayed for ants when ants were not present.When I asked for a mailed copy of the contract again today, they sent another email link. I understood billing would be once a quarter for needed pest services. BUT Insight shows up monthly and charges for whatever services are needed OR provides services not needed OR charges the full amount for NO services. I did not agree to paying for monthly service that's not needed and not requested. I have repeatedly asked for the technician to call me when at my home to tell me if monthly service is/was needed then, but they never call **** called the ********** office early today to speak with the manager. ***** said they are having a Christmas Party now and no manager would speak to me until tomorrow. At this stage, I requested email correspondence as I no longer trust phone conversations; they won't document anything in email.Do NOT use this company in Portland for pest control services! It's poorly managed, they refuse to send relevant documentation in the mail, refuse technicians' calls to property owners after a service when requested (particularly when service is unneeded), and refuse to address important topics in a timely manner because a Christmas party is more important than customer service. Use Yelp reviews not *******
