    The second time we brought our dog, she was absolutely terrified. As soon as we approached the steps, she let out a scream and bolted away from us. Our English lab, who weighs 130 pounds and loves everyone, had never behaved like this before. It was heartbreaking to see her so frightened, and we couldnt figure out what was causing her *********** her panic, she ran straight into the street, completely ignoring my calls. Shes usually such a well-behaved dog, so it was shocking to see her react this way. After that experience, we decided that our big baby wouldnt be going back there again. We want her to feel safe and happy, and clearly, that place wasnt it.

    DO NOT LEAVE YOUR DOGS HERE! I was out of town this week and left my 12 pound Chiweenie with these folks and she came home completely injured. See photos attached. Very clear some other animal attacked her and no one bothered to let me know during my trip or when I picked her up. Her ear had bled so much a solid black rock-like scab had formed over the course of the week and her fur was completely matted around it. Either these folks neglected her and didnt notice she was bleeding or they did notice and just didnt bother to let us know OR get her medical care. The person working there when we picked her up was also extremely rude. There are plenty of great dog boarding spots in and around ********. THIS IS NOT ONE OF THEM.

    I am a neighbor for as long as this business has been in the neighborhood. Originally I had no complaints. For years there were just sounds of frolicking dogs and usually very kind caregivers. Normally dogs are in by 10 pm, but as of late there are a couple of new care givers and the dogs are being left outside howling and crying for hours. More than one of two at times. The only phone numberI have is to the owner named ***** who NEVER responds. I have heard a male care giver screaming obsenities at the dogs telling them to "shut the F@#%CK up. Either hitting the dogs or using a shock collar as the cries are loud and quick and go on and on. It is terrifying to think people are boarding their dogs here thinking that their dogs will be safe. I PROMISE they are not and WILL be abused. My heart breaks almost daily and I feel helpless to help the poor dogs from this man ("caregiver") and this business (owner). I have called and text the owner to no avail. There is no use going over as they will not open the door. This so call safe house for dogs need a new owner and new employees.
