    Order a 1 month trial, cancel anytime. The picture editing software was sub-par. Canceled but charged a 1 year subscription of $83.88 anyway.Scam company with poor quality product.

    I purchased the BeFunky design program bc it is advertised as "cancel anytime." I ordered it May 12 and same day realized it didnt work, didn't have any of the graphic tools Canva did, so I cancelled Be FUNKY, and expected a refund. I then got an email 5/13 saying no refunds, I just get to use the service for a year and they wont renew it if I "cancel" but I ALREADY HAD. I am not using the service, they lie in advertising, and need to refund my $.

    I cancelled my BeFunky app account subscription on April 8, 2023 via my iPhone. I have a screenshot proving it. Subsequently, I was charged the monthly $9.99 fee each month (April - December) until I realized in January (Ive been sick and wasnt closely monitoring my Amex card). Then I figured out I could go into my account online and it said it was still going, so I cancelled it again. I sent proof of canceling the subscription in April and the monthly charges and requested a refund for the total, $89.91. BeFunky refunded me only one month, $9.99, but will not refund the rest. They claim I had two accounts, but that is 100% incorrect. I only ever had the one account, and only have one email address to make the account, and was only ever charged once per month the $9.99 monthly fee. If their statement was true that I had two accounts, then I would have been charged twice per month and never was. *** clarified this multiple times for them and someone named ******* continues to reply with the same responses. I notified Amex and they are investigating, and now I am reporting them to BBB. Thank you.

    I was under the assumption that i was agreeing to a FREE non subscription service with beFunky app online and hit continue. Much to my surprise, my account was charged for a YEARLY SUBSCRIPTION PAY AT ONCE for $59.88 on 4/10/2023. After immediatley realizing this, I cancelled online with 5 MINUTES!!!! It was Easter weekend, so I was proactive and reached out to the contact us message by email page on the website for the company. I tried to explain that I did not want the service as I realized it was not capable of my goals. However, I was told there was no possible way to refund once I had hit the continue button. At this point...My account was already now in the negative. I would have been able to cover the monthly subscription amount of $9.99 a month requested in a few days! THAT IS, AFTER I TRIED THE PRODUCT FOR FREE AND IF I DIDN'T CANCEL, I WAS AGREEING TO $9.99 PER MONTH!!!!!!Well, my refund request was not acheived. After speaking with *****, please see the attached email, I found that it was my only to pay the $9.99 and request the refund for the remaining amount - the difference - which would be a refund that I would expect of $49.89. Fine, I thought to myself. I will pay the $9.99 and then just cancel after I receive a $49.89 refund from the company. I communicated this with ""*****" and within 2 - 3 minutes I got an alert on my cell phone that I was charged an additional $9.99. Again - account negative, not to mention the $32.00 overdraft fees I am incurring. Please see the attached documents with the email trail. So basically I have now been charged a total of $59.88 plus the $9.99 and this is a grand total of $69.87. No response I have also sent several other emails with no response.

    This company I have never heard of has charged my credit card $59.88 for some unknown app not installed on my devices, which I've never used nor ever heard of and refuses to refund money. I've emailed every one of their departments, am disputing the charge with my credit card company, and submitted reviews for the app in question.

    In August 2022 I paid for a year long service from BeFunky of $59.88. I worked tirelessly for two days trying to figure out the technology. I emailed Customer Support but they were completely incompetent. On the third day I canceled my subscription because after two long days I didn't get one watermark! I asked them for a refund as I only had the service for 2 days and the technology was so bad it didn't work! They are not refunding me the money. And I think this is extremely poor business practice! I would like BBB to assist me in getting my money back. Thank you!

    I am sooo happy to tell you that I looked at my bank account and found a refund from Be Funky that I wrote and told you about. You contacted them three times and so did I and they never responded so I didnt even know they had refunded me until I looked at my bank account. So happy they did! Can you please take off the three year tag you put on their reviews? Also could you confirm you did so and get back to me. 
    Appreciate you more then you know! Keep up the great work you are doing for us!!
