In January 2024, we experienced a severe snowstorm where temperature stayed in the teens for several days. Inconsequence our water pipes froze then burst when it thawed. We called on 3 Mountains Plumbing to repair and they sent out **** *., a technician. He did not complete the work so he was sent out here again. He came back and finished installing the 5 length of a 1/2 water pipe. But he still needed to replace the insulation. He said hes not able to finish this because the area is very tall and he needed a second tech. We didnt hear from them for a while so we contacted them. Two women were sent out to do an inspection and they went under the house and took photos and videos. They came back up to report that the work has been completed and they showed the photos and videos as proof. That is not true. When they first arrived at the house, I met them at the door and I was in crutches due to an injury that I suffered from that same snowstorm. They quizzed me extensively about my injury. So they assumed I was not able to traverse my sloping yard to go under the house, therefore I dont know what Im talking about. I quickly ditched the crutches, took them under the house and pointed to them the unfinished job. Their response: oh that! They lied straight to my face. I did not appreciate this and I told them to leave. I called the office and they sent out **** B again with another tech and they finished the work. in September, I called their office for a different project. They now refused to work with me because I have problems. I spoke to the manager and it turned out that these two women reported that I made some inappropriate remarks to them. He did not specify what I allegedly said. I caught them in a lie, so they concocted another lie to cover for that lie. These women who are so capable of lying at every turn cannot be trusted. They crave equality and respect, but They themselves are a detriment to themselves. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY.

We are saddened to hear that you did not have a positive experience with our team. We are committed to providing excellent service for all of our customers which is why we are thorough in our work and documentation. If you would like the photos and videos are team has taken across the project we would be happy to send them to you. Our team does not install insulation which is why this part of project was never done as it was not apart of the project estimate that you signed. We stand by our technicians and treat them with respect regardless of their gender. We wish you all the best in the future.

When they installed the dry well in our yard they cut the control wire for our sprinkler system and didn't say anything. We didn't know this until we tried to get sprinkling system going. We hired ****** Landscaping to fix it because they were the ones who installed the sprinklers. 3-Mountain Plumbing paid only $250 of the $1200 bill to get it fixed. Never use this company again!!

*****, the manager, failed to communicate effectively regarding our overcharged services. Initially, a novice plumber was dispatched, who charged us $800 for ****** work and cartridge replacement. He assured us he would return to complete the job. However, a different technician arrived, singing loudly, and billed us another $800 for the same ****** replacement. We assumed this cost was already included. Despite our attempts to reach *****, he ignored our calls, and when he did respond, he merely stated that services were provided without providing an itemized cost breakdown. Moreover, he did not address the issue of the excessive time spent by the singing technician. This lack of accountability and transparency is unacceptable. I will not consider using their services again.

On July 20th, 2023, I hired 3 Mountains Plumbing to check for an obstruction in the sink. They snaked the pipe and damaged it. I'll never know if the pipe burst because it was old or because the twenty-something employee didn't know how to operate the tool. They charged us $2,174.50 to repair it. In the process, they scoped the underground pipe, determined that it was channeling, and strongly advised us to replace it. In their estimate, they calculated that they would have to dig a 20-foot concrete trench using a jackhammer. They also said that it would take them most of the day to complete the first phase of the job, which consisted in finishing the installation for approval by the city inspector. Their estimate for this second project was $5,479.00. Since the underground pipe was not leaking and, according to the plumber, it would take one or two years for it to leak and cause any damage, it wasnt an urgent problem needing immediate attention. We agreed to do the repair on the condition that they finished it by Aug. 10th. We clearly expressed to them that, unless they could commit themselves to completing it by this date, we wouldnt approve the project. It took them > 2 hrs to complete it (rather than most of the day) and the trench was < 6' long (rather than 20). Not only did they grossly overestimate the time and effort it would take them to complete the job but, they also failed to complete the job by Aug 10th. They also refused to adjust the inflated estimate when I pointed out this large discrepancy between their estimate and the job they actually did.I ended up hiring a different company to finish the job they failed to complete. The plumber who finished the project commented that it was poorly done and unnecessary because the old underground pipe they urged me to replace was still in good shape. As a result of their negligence and abuse, I decided to file a complaint with the ****** ********** of ********

Would not provide an itemized breakdown of the cost. Way too expensive. Removal of disposal and a couple of pipes $1026. They do not seem to care.

This company has plenty of positive reviews, which is what first caught my eye. However, if you start digging, youll soon learn that they cant clarify why their services cost what they cost and are almost certainly price gauging what they can get away with. We asked them to do some work on our whining toilet and dripping shower head. They said that they needed to replace the generic shower cartridge, which is about $60 at Lowes, and the toilet fill valve, which costs about $10. These two service items which included two hours of work was quoted at $860. When I asked how they arrived at these prices, all they could say was that its their upfront pricing model. Ok, so how do you get to that price? No one could tell me. This job should havent been more than $200 or so, but their upfront pricing model magically quadruples cost. They are not transparent with how they calculate costs and they are gauging as much as they can get away with. Youd be better served getting another bud. Dont use this company

Over the years I have used 3 Mountains plumbing for various projects and found them responsive, reasonably priced and their work high quality. However, based on my last experience I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN. I purchased all of the necessary hardware for a master bathroom shower replacement. They were booked out a month but it wasn't an emergency so, no problem. This was a very simple job with direct access to all pipes from a panel in an adjacent closet. When the "Technicians" arrived they surveyed the job and spent 30 minutes in their truck writing proposals for things I did not need or want (New water heater $3,438, new tankless water heater $15,683, Shower head replacement using their hardware $2,159). They quoted me $1,659 to replace my shower head, mixing valve and trim using my hardware. I was shocked at the price but agreed to proceed, thinking I may have underestimated the difficulty of the project. It took a maximum of 2 hours to complete the swap. Simple math; !,659/2 = $829.50 / per hour !!!. After a little internet research on plumbing fees this was 2X-3X what I should have been charged. I complained to company management who pretty much said "They are plenty of other people out there who are willing to pay that amount". Unless you are willing to be ripped off DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!
