    Have been using DeTemple for 30 years, and my mother used them before me for 20 years, for many plumbing problems and projects both big and small. ALWAYS punctual, helpful, thoughtful, resourceful, honest, competent, and fair. For fifty years. Which is an excellent track record in my opinion.

    Total rip-off. Our toilets backed up into our bathtubs in May 2021. We called Rotor Rooter the same day, they came out but couldnt fix the problem and they didnt charge me. The next day we called De Temple, they also came here but after a couple of hours they also were unsuccessful and the technician had to leave for another appointment and I was told he would be back and I also should call the city as he thought it might be City related. We called the city and they came out and put a camera down and showed us that it wasnt city related but suggested to us to use some Root X ( wich was $40 and worked ) Anyway we never heard back from Temple until 7 month later when they emailed an invoice for almost $1200. We called to get an explanation but the person in charge of billing wasnt available and we were told that they would contact us. We didnt hear back until September 2022 ( 9 month later ) with another invoice for almost $900 , so we called again for an explanation on how to charge so much for something they didnt fix and never followed up on and the response was extremely rude basically telling us if we dont pay the bill they will a collection agency take care of it. Beware customers, this is a scam company.
