      A little over a year ago we began renting a small shipping container from Container Storage. My husband is the one who set up the delivery and initial payment. They never had him sign a contract, but they did request his debit card number for automatic payment. We have never received a bill from Container Storage and we dis even know how much the monthly payment was going to be or when it was coming out of our account until the day it was debited each month. This was very frustrating. In June of this year the card they had been using expired so it no longer worked. Because the payment always came out of our account on a different day each month I did not notice when it was no longer coming out of our account. Container Storage did not bother to try to co tact us until October when my husband received a bill for all of the delinquent months demanding payment immediately. I called and left a message requesting a call back. They did not call back until late November. I made payment arrangements with the operations manager. Then he sent me an email saying that his regional manager needed to talk with me. Evidently he did not like the payment arrangement and wanted immediate payment. It was their fault to begin orb for not contacting us right away about payment. Now they will not allow my other form of payment besides auto debit. I requested a copy of the co text thread my husband signed. The regional manager sent me a receipt from the initial delivery of the container. It had some additional pages that look like a contract with a signature line at the bottom but there was no signature. My husband said he was never asked to sign a contract. There are no payment terms stated on the document . It does not state how a customer is to make payments. It doesnt even contain the monthly payment amount. I have asked several times to be sent a bill in the mail and they refuse. I dont believe they actually want to get paid.
