On October 9th 2024 | called Murder Ink in ******** ****** about getting tattoos. I was referred to ****** ********* who asked for a $100 deposit. I sent that through Cash App. Our appointment was booked on October 12th but I ended up canceling because I got too nervous and wasn't sure if I wanted tattoos anymore. He said deposits aren't refundable and if I do end up booking again, the $100 will go towards my tattoos, which all sounded good to me. On November 11th I decided I did want to get tattoos so I contacted him. He said I would have to pay in full since I canceled last time. He said it would be $700 for everything that I wanted, and that the $100 sent on October 12th would go towards that so I owed him $600. I sent the $600 on Cash App. Our appointment was booked for November 19th.On November 16th, he texted me saying he would no longer be able to do my tattoos because he had to go to ********* to visit his ill mom. After many attempts to see if he'd be able to tattoo me, on December 14th I decided I'd rather go somewhere else and asked for a refund of my $700. I was denied a refund and told: "If you wish you may speak with an attorney and start filing a lawsuit against me but I'm afraid it wouldn't get you paid any sooner." | reached out to the tattoo shop on December 15th voicing my concerns. On December 19th they said, "Ok let me work on this. Every artist is a general contractor and is responsible for his dealings however I'm going to look into this and try to come up with a solution." I have reached out to the artist directly and the tattoo shop with no help.

Nor is it what I asked for - I have watched this shop for a month , do tattoo after tattoo - Another of Murder Inks employees- ******************************* gave me records of the tattoos that he did himself there in this shop- over the past 45 days -****** Doesnt even have a license to practice ********************** in the state of ****** I have had to take blood tests to ensure I did t contract a disease - but this is not healthy practices for a professional tattoo shop and Id like my money back as well as letting authorities know what is going on in this shop
