      My sister, now deceased, had used this company for her income taxes. I am executor of her estate and thus have a fiduciary responsibility to settle her affairs. *********************** EA #***** LTC #**** filed an income tax filing for her for calendar year 2020 but has yet to file her 2021 personal as well as the final estate tax. Furthermore, we have one investment account remaining that I need him to calculate the withholding for taxes so my sister and I, as beneficiaries, don't have to file a K-1.I have been calling/sending *** and his colleague ****** repeated emails for the last year begging him to settle our accounts and also pointing out that we had a fine from the 2020 late filing that he is responsible for. After threatening legal action, I got a response email from him on 9/9 apologizing for the delay and promising to close these filings for me "next week". I haven't heard anything since and have sent two follow up emails to no avail. Since he has all of my sister's tax documents and her history (I don't know how long she has used him but at least 5 years) so I don't know how I can get someone else to do this for me.

      I am rejecting this response because I don't have the final paperwork and likely won't until the 7 day period expires.  I have promises and I've had promises before.  I want this case to stay active until I am completely satisfied that he has completed everything.
