On Thursday November 9th 2023 I went into the business to play a quarter machine that they have inside. It essentially is a gambling game. I understand that just like all gambling games there are various details that make the odds of winning big in the owners favor. When you win quarters they drop into the collection tray below so that you can grab them. This particular company has rigged said collection tray to where it's slanted to one back corner and on springs that allow it to go back and down while you grab your quarters. All of these things make it to where the machine takes half or more of the quarters that you do win back. When I confronted the employees working there they acted shocked and said that that was messed up but that they couldn't do anything about it. They then lied to me and said that the machine belongs to a man from ********** that comes in and stocks it and collects his money. They offered me his phone number. I sat waiting for about 10 minutes when I finally addressed them they laughed and said that they were being sarcastic. I asked them how I could contact him then and they began to get upset saying look that's how the machine works that's how it is it's been 5 years and no one has complained and that they had no way of contacting him. I became upset and said so your telling me you can't contact a man who's machine is in your business?. They got very upset and raised their voices at me saying of course we do but get over it that's how gambling works that's just how it is no one else has complained!. This is wrong on so many levels! The machine is already rigged to where it's near impossible to win anything and I had accepted that but they have absolutely NO right to then take from the very little that people do win. They also have no right to be misleading and disrespectful to a customer. Over the years I've probably spent a couple hundred dollars in this machine but it's not as much about getting my money back as it is about principle.
