We meet with IDC in early June 2022 to start 3 remodeling projects in our home. We were given an initial quote of $15,306.64. We provided $7,653.32 on 8/18/22 (50% down, as directed). 8/31/22 work started in one room. The work was finished by 9/8/22. Upon completion of the work, we found discrepancies for this particular room. On 9/30/22 IDC made the necessary adjustments & credited it back towards our overall bill. We received $2,170.06 of a credit. This brought our overall bill down to $13,536.59 and since we already paid $7,653.32 we were well ahead of the final payment, which was due upon completion of the work. There was still a discrepancy of $160, which was never addressed. I reached out multiple times between 9/30/22-10/12/22. On 10/12/22 I sent another email asking for a refund of $5,666.73, due to lack of *********************** to finish the intended remodel. I received a very vague email on 10/13/22 stating they would look things over & get back to me the next week. Again, no communication was made. Yesterday, I was informed, all employees were laid off without their final paycheck & to contact the owner of the company. I have called, emailed, texted, ******** messaged, the owner & the business page, I even stopped by the ******* office today, during office ********** was closed. I have not received any response & desperately want my money back. I am filing a complaint with the **** I will be contacting the ***** police and an attorney.

The initial meeting was 5/13/2022 On July 8th, I was asked for a deposit in the amount of $15,000 to begin the project.******, I have not received a receipt and the work was never begun.I have asked for my money back from the owner and his comment was "what, are you getting cold feet".I have visited the business 4 different times to ask for my money back and am always told ***** is here that can do that. When I request to see the designer I was working with they tell me she is out with medical or family issue's. When in fact she was laid off in August. I have sent a certified letter to the company and to the **** This too has not resulted in any contact from Interior Design Concepts or the owner ***********************************.
