On May 6, 2022 I went to this business to request one month of tanning so that I could get ready for an event. I specified that I needed one month only and did not want month to month. The clerk took my information and charged me $75 dollars for the month. I did not sign a contract or get a receipt from them. On June 6, 2022 my card was charged for $55. This happened again on July 6th. I noticed the charges on July 8th and called the business to ask about the charges and ask for a refund. The clerk told me her manager was not available but said I could email the manager with my complaint. She confirmed that I was being charged for a monthly membership but I had not signed a contract. I emailed the manager about the issue on July 8th and received what looked like an automatic reply that did not resolve the issue. I replied to the email saying as much and asking to speak to the manager via phone but I never received a reply. I then waited a month to see if the charges would stop. On August 6th, I was charged again but for $5. I emailed the manager again on August 13th but again got another automatic email. I replied again to her email but never heard back. Not sure of what to do to get my money back,, I decided to post a review on ****** and on yelp. The owner saw the review on ****** and called me while I was at work but I could not answer as I was in a work meeting. In her message, she told me to come in to see her to discuss the complaint, told me when and where she would be available. On Wednesday, August 17th, I drove to the ******* store, where she said she'd be, but she wasn't there. The person at the desk told me she was not available by phone as but said she'd let her know i stopped by. I asked them to have her call me. I haven't heard anything yet. I feel this company owes me $115: $55 for the June charge, $55 for the July charge, and $5 for the August charge. I still can't say for sure they won't charge me again. Any advice would be helpful.
