    What a joke. They never gave me the information on paint but they told us we had to figure it out. We paid over $300 on paint trying to figure out the color and when I finally spoke to the manager he said not to worry about painting because they didnt have the paint color. But they sure as h*** charged us to paint! Look anywhere else for a property manager. These guys are a joke. High Desert Property Management was an absolute nightmare to work with. We signed our lease with a different company that was then sold to High Desert. From the minute management switched we were extremely unhappy. They took weeks to get us our washer and dryer that was promised us in our lease and I had to fight with them to give it to us. Whenever we had an issue come up they just were never easy to work with. This company will nickel and dime you out of every ***** of your deposit. When we FINALLY got our deposit a month and a half after moving out they took a huge chunk out for tiny spots that were missed in cleaning. I had to call their office multiple times to see when our deposit was coming because it was so late. We cleaned the house up and down and all around for 3 days straight and they claimed spots werent clean and charged us over a thousand dollars to clean it.

    *********** did not complete your rental agreement as you indicated. The information in your lease with the prior company had wrong information in the lease agreement; however, the owner of the property provided the washer / dryer. This process took approximately 15 days (owner approval, ordering & installation). Monetary compensation was provided by the owner for these days without the appliances. Your deposit return was processed within the time allowed by the landlord/tenant laws. The cleaning charged to you was $157.50. It was not over a $1,000 as claimed in your review. You were provided detailed invoices of the cleaning completed and also of damages to the property that was repaired. The paint color is listed on the inside of your electrical panel which you were told during a conversation with our office. It was indicated that if the sheen was off to discontinue painting. You were charged for fixing bad wall repairs / paint. We are happy to schedule a meeting with you to review the photos of the property from your move-out and make any adjustments should they be warranted.

    They are crooks when I moved in the house was a mess light bulbs were out I had to buy a special tool just to change the light bulbs then when I moved out I cleaned the entire place and they take **** dollars out of my deposit

    *********** - We are happy to provide you with a copy of your move-in check off sheet that was submitted to our office which shows a loose toilet paper holder and a couple of light bulbs out in the kitchen and laundry room. There is no mention of any messes.  We completed professional carpet cleaning, house cleaning, landscape maintenance and maintenance that was required of you per your rental agreement.  Documentation has been provided to you for these charges.  You called our afterhours emergency line using profanity and shouting at the person on the other end of the phone and the call was ended.  We have approximately 200 photos of your move-out.  You are more than welcome to schedule an appointment with our office to view those photos.
