    If I had my way, I'd give them lower than a zero. We paid something like $68 a month for 1 Gig of service. Not impressed. ******** never said they were faster than 690MB and those were the best ratings we ever got. Even lower on *************. The TV was always buffering. So, we decided to leave and try someone else. When we cancelled, we discovered that you have to give them 30 days' notice to cancel. THIRTY DAYS' NOTICE. Are you kidding me?? We had the new company coming in the same day so now we get to pay these fine gentlemen and women $68 for ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!! We had no equipment and no one had to come out to disconnect anything. When they asked why we were leaving, I told them it was because they forced their leaving customers to pay an additional $68 for no reason at all. I asked to speak to a supervisor. Waste of time. They don't give a rat's dropping about anyone but the bottom line. Maybe the one's on the phone did but they had no authority to do anything about it. None. Zip. Zero. Nada. It does not matter that their product ***** and that that the 30-day rule was in the fine print that I'd be surprised if 5% of customers read. It's pages and pages of drivel. I should not have to read that. No one does that. I'm 72 and have never had that come up in my life and I have moved a boatload of times. So, if I were you, I'd take heed that nothing has changed since these other ratings were written. On the BBB page anyway. Make another choice. Any other choice. If one person saves themselves $68 down the road, then this post will not have been a waste of time. Oh, I may be on the BBB page but Douglas Fast Net is not a member. I wonder why??

    I spoke with *** directly to better understand his concerns. After reviewing the call from when he originally placed his order, I found that our representative did not clearly explain our 30-day disconnect policy. Additionally, it appears he did not receive a Welcome Letter, which would have outlined this policy.  Because of this, I let *** know we would waive any charges beyond the date he requested disconnection of his fiber internet service. We strive to make our policies clear and regret that this wasnt his experience. We appreciate his feedback and are taking steps to ensure better communication moving forward.

    I am sure my anger over the $67.80 fee I was going to have to pay for one month of nothing, colored the review I wrote. Although we did get quite a bit of buffering when streaming on the TV, I never checked with DFN because you always get the same answers from these types of companies. Either its normal, or there's nothing we can really do or a bunch of canned answers that don't help your problem. So, my bad on that. I also wish to retract a few statements that I made. Their product does not 'suck'. And maybe the TV was not 'always buffering' although it did buffer more than I liked. But I am new to streaming so...The info on ************* and ******** is 100% correct. After talking to gentleman who made the comment from the business, I changed my review to a 3.75 or 4 for quality of service and 3 for customer service based on the 30 days in advance cancellation policy. Although the phone call from the man from DFN upped that when he decided not to charge me the $67.80. I'd actually like to remove the original review from both BBB and Yelp.

    DFN send letters in Sept 2024 to *** customers saying they were going to discontinue service Oct. 31, 2024. So, we switched to T-Mobile the end of September. We dropped off their phone equipment October 1st and was told they would prorate the bill for October for a partial month. On November 1st we got the final bill for $99.59 for our home internet, which is the charge for the full amount (not prorated) for the month. I called to ask why and they said billing ***** said no prorated last month I have to pay the full amount, period.I had been with them for about 15 years and this is how they treat their customers. I would expect this from big companies but not a local small internet company.I would NOT ever recommend this company ever again. Poor customer service!

    I filed and won a small claims action in my local court against DFN for the same reason ******** For ****** *. complained about in here. I was charged a $30.00 fine for an "NSF " return on my autopay account that never happened. DFN later claimed I had given them the wrong account number which was ALSO not true. I gave them a voided check with a checking account # numerous other utility companies have used for years without a hitch. My claim was for the $30.00 NSF fine plus the $57.00 court filing fee, plus the $50.00 court subpoena service fee totaling $137.00. They send me a check for the full amount. This is a horrible, and dishonest way to bill customers. It borders on fraud. I have ALL the court docs to prove this if anyone disputes this. There's another similar complaint in **** for the exact same situation which makes me wonder how many other customers / victims never came forward? I would HIGHLY recommend adjusting this company's A+ rating to a more deserving one.

    Ripped off - DFN, failed to properly process my payment in my Dec-Jan invoice 2023-2024. When I contacted them, initially, they told me my "Payment was returned NSF." Next they tell me my payment was returned, "No account." Two different "EXCUSES," tWO DIFFERENT PHONE CALLS TO "CUSTOMER sERVICE (tHEY HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING-NO CUSTOMER SERVICE IS AVAILABLE). This is the same payment they were processing now for 8 months-From the same account. instead of refunding the $30.00 plus the insulting additional fee of $5.00, fr a total of $35.00. I have ALWAYS paid my ********* time and in full. They blamed ME for their inablity to process this payment - I called my bank and was informed that, "Payment was NEVER INITIATED by DFN." i am a recent widow on a fixed income. AND YET, I pay my bills on time and in full. to add insult to injury, they refused - 100% - to correct THEIR MISTAKE. Through NO FAULT of my own, I was ignored, rebuffed and challenged by this irresponsible company. The level of greed and malfeasance required by DFN to act in BAD FAITH towards me in this egreggious practice of blaming a CUSTOMER for THEIR ERRORS is blinding in it's overreach of greed. There are better companies out there who will honor a good customer, instead of losing one. I am beyond disgusted.Take your money somewhere else - tHERE ARE FAR BETTER AND RESPONSIBLE COMPANIES TO CHOOSE FROM!Do NOT waste it with this corrupt sloth of a company that cares not for the business of a good ccustomer who pays in full and ON TIME. SHAME ON YOU PEOPLE!
