      Its odd cause they want your money but they dont want your business. Paid $100 for an oil pressure test, okay fine. Pressure was about 12-14psi when running on a 2002 4Runner. They said it was low and the pump will give out soon. But they wont repair it cause its too much work. Come to find out MINIMUM oil pressure for that car is 4psi, look online or pick up a ****** Manual. What they clocked it at was fine. Other mechanics in town were shaking their heads at the bone headedness. I feel a mechanic should understand basic oil pressure across different makes and modes of cars and not put fear in a customer their car will lose pressure at any moment. But they wont be there to help. They take the money and run, but giving bad information, lack of care, and not offering help after putting fear in a customer that their engine could be done forever at any moment is wrong in so many ways.
