The Vehicle arrived via Tow with a no start condition.  When the vehicle was in the bay we found that the Remote Wire to the starter was broken and the Starter was hanging by the Power wire.  The Starter was not mounted to engine block.   We Repaired the Starter Remote wire, using supplies that were not charged to the customer.  On the Attempt to remount the old starter we found that the threads in the block were stripped out from over tightening the bolts.  At this point we contacted the customer explained that in order to repair these threads the Engine would need to be removed from vehicle to better access the location and provided customer with verbal quote at this time.  The Customer was advised at this time that we could try to remount old Starter with help of Liquid Lock Tite on the bolts, he also was advised this might not Repair the damage and the Starter still may not work. At this time that we had two hours labor on this project at $130/hr.  Customer Provided Verbal Approval we Moved forward with the temporary repair.  Sadly upon starting the starter came unattached again, customer had to tow vehicle away.  Before any time or repair was charged, customer provided verbal approval for us to move forward.  After first email was received from BBB on 11/27/23   An attempt was made to contact customer to resolve concern, however we have not received any contact back.
