1 starBEWARE!! Full review on **** and ******* The third experience with *** was the worst and absolutely not the level of care I thought I was paying for. This was a 6 day stay through the Thanksgiving holiday. For this stay, I checked the cameras more frequently and what I found broke my heart and confirmed my fears. What I thought I was paying for posted on their website : 5ft x 10ft x 6ft, and larger, Or 4ftx8ftx6ft. All day play included!Note: there is also a disclaimer that says (*** reserves the right to choose best fit accommodations for each dog which may include a crates versus a ************************* this case they decided my two dogs would stay in a very small crate on the cold floor for the duration of their stay. No cot, no blanket, in thetraining room and often spending at least 16 hours in the kennel. They were fed together in the same small kennel during which the larger of my two dogs ate the most of the other dogs food, which doesnt usually happen with just a little bit of supervision. Play time consisted of the dogs just pacing around the room following the handler cleaning up after them. Not once did I see any engagement with the dogs. I even witnessed one of my dogs get sprayed with water while the garage door was open in the ***** degree weather. It is no surprise that both of my dogs got sick. Upon pickup, both dogs smelled like urine, both had runny noses, sneezes, and cough. Both obviously sick and absolutely exhausted. As if that wasnt awful enough, the smaller of my two dogs had small cuts all over his body. Yes, there are inherent risks when boarding your dogs but each time I used this place something bad happened to my dogs. As a disabled veteran or any dog mom for that matter, it is very disappointing to spend so much money to have someone care for your pets (family) and then to have to turn around and spend hundreds more in vet billsReview fromConner H

What a wonderful experience from Suite Dog Daze. We have a 10 year old Newfoundland that had never been boarded before. Hes a great dog until hes not. And when hes not he is very aggressive. Suite Dog Daze cared for our good boy for a week and gave him a bath and grooming before we picked him up. Most groomers cant handle him. *** came through with flying colors. Even my teenager noticed that this was the best he had ever looked. The staff is awesome and made me feel amazingly confident that if I ever heed to board our pup again it will be with them. And they will be the only ones to groom him for the rest of his days.Suite Dog Daze LLC

Thank you so much for your wonderful review of your experience. I have an incredible staff who are patient, loving and resourceful with difficult dogs. We were happy to have your boy. It was great spending time with him. I look forward to his next stay. **** Owner/FounderReview fromVeronica P

1 starMy puppy experienced three incidents at this boarding kennel facility. The first was when my puppy showed symptoms of kennel cough and was quarantined for only 24 hours, 2-14 days is usually the protocol. However, the dog was later found to be sick, four days after they originally notified me of his symptoms and was already sick the day of pick up. The second incident involved my puppy taking a toy from another dog and that dog bit my puppy, which was never communicated to me until the day I picked him up and seen the wounds. **** blamed the staff for not being trained and not notifying me of the bites. The third incident involved my puppy allegedly biting an employee, which was not communicated to me until the day after picking up my puppy? This should have been communicated immediately! The stories I've heard are very inconsistent and keep changing. The day after coming home, the puppy's symptoms worsened, and he was taken to the vet and animal hospital for emergency care. The vets agreed that the stories are inconsistent, and that dog should have been quarantined for at least two days; he was diagnosed with kennel cough/pneumonia. The facility is liable for providing proper care and treatment to the pets in their care and should be required to communicate critical issues, but they have zero accountability and poor communication. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT COME HERE IF THIS IS THE FIRST TIME BOARDING YOUR FAMILY PET. Pay more at another facility and get better quality care. (ALSO ON YELP)Review fromRebecca T

The ONLY sanitation I EVER witnessed, was the cement floor being hosed down with water. Additionally, every time I went to pick up my guy, all I could smell was dog p*** as I waited at the assigned entrance. My dog got GIARDIA from here, do NOT recommend. Emailed the owner, got a very nasty unprofessional response claiming that out of ***** clients not one dog was reported to have ******** ??????. Just read the reviews for this place, there are several reports of parasitic infection, neglect and dogs not being fed. Several times when I picked up my dog, his dog food was came back home with him. Oh, and I was charged for each of the imaginary feedings. Will never go backSuite Dog Daze LLC

As I explained to you in our email exchange and in your ****** review you have either misunderstood everything I have tried to communicate to you, or you are just spiteful and have not a lot of other things to do with your time then spend it disparaging a business. The hosing off the floor as sanitation, I have two answers for you. First, our floor is not cement. So, you have witnessed that incorrectly. It is an expoxy blend that is white with colorful speckles. Doesn't even look like cement. Cement can absorb things like odors and bacteria. Therefore, I made a hefty investment in this building for the health and safety of dogs. Putting in an epoxy topcoat that reduces slipping and prevents things that bacteria and odors from being obsorbed. I have a product called Wysiwash, which attaches to the hose to release the product diluted with water to sanitize and germicide the area. Glad you were a witness to us using this product. You've only mentioned the smell recently after you became angry with me for correcting you on the Giardia comment. I sent an email blast to all of my ***************************************************************************************************************** particular, ****** and our town of Salem. The email informed clients how the fear of this "mystery respiratory" illness has been affecting the pet industry in our area. I reminded them how important their local support is to local businesses. In response to this email ******* decided to tell me that ****** was the culprit and not this new upper respiratory virus. She is the only client of the **** who I sent the email to that responded with the comment regarding ******. I was not saying in the history of my business. Giardia is a common parasite in pacific NW. In dog daycare where dogs lick their butts then play with their mouths, it's easily transferred, as they are microscopic spores passed through f**** So, licking the a*** than mouthing another dog would easily transfer these microscopic spores despite stringent cleaning protocols in place. We notify all owners immediately if their dog has diarrhea. The dog is sent home and we request the owner collect stool sample to give to their vet. Once the dog has received a negative result for Giardia, they are allowed to return to daycare. All the best to you and yours ***************Review fromLane S

Boarded two dogs there over Thanksgiving, will never go there again , watched on video multiple times during the day not one time did they ever even pet our mini ausie, also had my daughter great **** pup there he came down with a skin disorder took him to vet last night cost 600 dollars in medicine and now has to be bathed every three days, we free feed and told them that but they only gave them a bowl at feeding time only and if they didn't eat they took feed away please stay away from here if you love your animals , since I can't reply to your comment YOU ARE SUCH A LIAR, first of all olive is our baby and I will have you know I watched the camera off and on all day the whole time so the ******** you said in your comments is such a lie, absolutely unbelievable, as far as my daughters dog it has cost hundreds of dollars in visits and meds and even the vet said it was from your facility point blank.... so to basically attack me is c*** your facility is nasty, I hope you are shut down all those poor animals go to a better facility that treats them right . God have mercy on your soulsSuite Dog Daze LLC

I think your review here speaks for itself. Not much I care to respond to that I haven't already responded to on your review on other sites. Regarding the comment by your vet - if he/she did make that comment, he/she needs to monitor what he/she says to ensure the truth is being spoken. Your vet has never visited my facility, nor spoken with me regarding our sanitation protocols. It is more dangerous for your dog to go to the said vet clinic than my facility. As sick dogs go to the vet. That's where the germs are. Good day and Merry Christmas to you and yours.

While we were on vacation in July, we boarded our under 5 yr old englishmastiff at Suite Dog Daze. He was a happy and healthy dog. Less than a week in their care he became sick and died. SDD did not contact us or our emergency contacts upon first sign of illness. They never did contact our emergency contacts at all. He died within apprx 30 hours of them notifying us he was ill. I saw many flags about their facility upon dropping him off and what little communication they had with me.The ER Vet records state Dozer was lethargic for 2 prior to being taken in. SSD never told us he was lethargic. SDD records show he ate very little, if any, and took very little of his meds. Please go to ****** reviews for SDD and scroll for this review to find link on further details. Not able to share the link here.Suite Dog Daze did not contact us after that last phone call letting us know he had passed, until almost a month later. And only responding after I contacted them. We started communicating civilly and privately via email. We did not go public, trying to settle this privately. Unfortunately without our permission they exploited our story on FB, not allowing us to comment or share our side of this story. SDD did not handle this whole tragedy right nor did they care about our privacy. They didn't follow our instructions for *****'s care, making decisions on their own that did impact his well being and factored in the outcome of this horrific tragedy. I truly hope and pray this doesn't happen to others. Dozer, nor our family deserved to be treated like this.Suite Dog Daze LLC

Suite Dog Daze has an explanation of this on our ******** page. Feel free to check that out. Also, do as ***** has requested and check out our ****** reviews. We are very sorry for their loss. I will say, she has many inaccuracies in her account here, to make it appear we were negligent in our care. Her dog had many existing health problems which contributed to his decline as per the necropsy report. Her pet was a 200lb Mastiff, just shy of turning 5 years old with an enlarged heart, double knee and hip dysplasia among other health issues. She did not send medication, rather she gave him over the counter supplements for his extreme inflammatory disease. We did everything we could for her dog. This was a tragic, unfortunate event. We are very transparent. Check us out and see for yourself.S.S

***** had never been sick in his life. His vet records will show that. He had regular vet visits and was up to date on required vaccinations. He was on supplements and medication for his bad joints and allergies, recommended by his vet. Facts: The ** veterinarian report showed ***** went in with 104 temperature, had green stuff coming from his nose and was told by Suite Dog Daze staff he had been lethargic for 2 days. I was not contacted at the first sign of illness. My emergency contacts were never contacted at all. Phone records will support that, as well as those people. The *** necropsy report showed ***** died from "Bacterial bronchopneumonia". Which is highly contagious. These reports were provided to Suite Dog Daze in hopes they will not let this happen again. ***** was a healthy, strong, happy dog who did not have to die.
