    Oregon Driver Education Center (ODEC), in *****, is not providing anywhere near adequate opportunity for driving time. They report having plenty of drivers and to check their website frequently because they add lessons often. However, I have been checking the website daily since mid-May and all I see is this: A full 2 month calendar and the message "Sorry, we do not have any open slots for your search criteria. We add lessons regularly. Please check back often."They have offered two driving times via text but they have been during the school day and I already had to take my son out of school for one of his driving lessons. How is it reasonable to ask high school students to skip school to meet driving requirements? They also don't allow you to drive on the same day you have class (you can not take an afternoon drive time if you have class that same morning). I have spoken to the Oregon Driver Education Center twice and the only answer I get is "Well, we've offered driving times but you declined, you have to accept them when they are offered."(they were declined because they were offered during the school day!) or "Keep checking the website and we'll notify you if extra drives become available." They have never offered to help work something out or apologized or even recognized that they aren't meeting what they say they offer. I feel like we are a victim of a company that allows more students to enroll than they have the ability to serve. This feels like a money grab for them. I have paid $600 for something my teenager can't have and they offer no recourse for a refund or effort in getting his drive time requirements met.
