  I wanted to help a local business out and opted to hire **** instead of a big company and it's because of business-practices like his, that makes it difficult for people in this community to want to trust and support local owners. Below is my experience:**** and his brother came to my property to do a roof **** removal. They brushed all the **** off the side of the house and left them on the ground. The process of this caused dirt and black streaks on my windows and exterior walls, they also left **** and leaves on the patio awning. They left in a hurry without cleaning up the mess and even left equipment behind. My tenant was not even aware that they had left because they did not communicate the job was done, otherwise we would have inspected it and let them know in person the dissatisfaction of their job. I reached out multiple times to request for them come back, clean the mess and retrieve their hose.He also did not remove all the ****. He claims he sprayed with a **** killer but never came back to finish clearing them. There is a ton of green **** still on my roof, when I asked about, he straight up lied and said it was "green stains". I had another roofer come take a look at it and he laughed. He said that had to be a joke and that these "green stains" were living, breathing, oregon flower-****.His contract states a 2 year warranty. He said he would come back end of January to uphold that and finish cleaning the ****. It is now February. The original job was done in mid December.

  Job: Cover the yard with plastic. Most of the grass had been removed with a sod cutter and mounds made. Weed whack and trim edges to tuck in plastic and use sod strips to hold down. Weed whack a small back yard. Also agreed to trim ******. When he came on June 15, 2022, **** said it would be easier to just remove the grass at the edges with a pickax. I said OK. He did that for part of the edges, but not all. I told **** 3 times that the mounds in the yard were to be covered with plastic. He took up one of the mounds and started on another before I stopped him. I told him to break up the strips of sod left on the parking strip and use them to weigh down the plastic on the sides and overlaps. He used the clumps dug up from the edges, spaced widely apart so that a mild breeze would blow the plastic up.The side yard is about 50x11. The rolls of plastic are 100x8. I told him to cut one roll into two 50ft. pieces. He covered the side with 3 layers of plastic, not even going to the edges. He did not cover the edges of the parking strips where the grass was. The whole point of this was to kill the grass. He covered the grass strips on the parking strip that he was supposed to use for weighing down the plastic and then would not lift up the sides to pull some out when I complained. The weed whacking in the back yard left large ***** that were just bent down but not cut. I told him that I wanted the top of the hedge evened out and the side cut back. The lower part was to be cut back past the stone flags so I could put a wire fence in. He left shoots sticking up on the top of the hedge. After cutting the side back a little bit, he said he could not cut back more for fear of damaging his blade and not knowing how far he could cut back without killing the hedge(almost impossible to kill). He left the upper part with sharp splintery ends of branches over the path. He charged me $1000.00 for this work. I did not get an estimate from him. Others estimated $120.
