I am rejecting this response because:

    Sincerely,

*************************I observed and later re-measured. They later said #5 was on the other side of the fence, a distance of 8 feet.#3 and #9 are unknown. They had stopped searching for markers, found and concealed, mismeasured or unknown. They encouraged purchase of a $3,500 survey. The survey had significant problems like not delivering requested services, not using a licensed surveyor, not providing a report, finding then hiding one marker, measuring another with errors, not mentioning all other markers. I would have had to pay $3,500 for a useful survey.I sent them my concerns on 7/31/23 and they didn't answer them,I had to ask to be billed, which I paid in full.

The *************** does not require a licensed professional land surveyor to be on site during a survey. I was in direct supervision of my field crew when they were on site. The property was surveyed in **** and iron rods were set in the ground to represent the property corners. After 45 years, several of the corners are no longer there. We showed ************** what we found and informed him that to set *********** the price would be $3,500.00. The reason for the higher price is that I would need to file a map with the county surveyor and that would need to fulfill all the rules and regulations of ORS 92. I do not know where he got the price of a survey being $200 to $1,000.00 but that does not even cover the filing fees that the county surveyor charges. We sent him a contract stating what we would do and the prices. He signed the contract and returned it to us. We did the work stated in the contract and do not plan on refunding him for any charges.

    Summary 1/12/24
I asked Land Markers for a survey on 5/23/23 done by a professional surveyor to locate
markers #3 and #5, and a report of findings which I never received.
You did not locate the markers I requested. You did not mention #3 at all.
I was there and I watched the crew find marker #4, dig a hole, plant a
wood stake, later remove it and fill the hole which you never mentioned or explained.
I watched the crew mis-measure from
known marker #8 the location of marker #5 in two places 8 feet apart.
The original markers were set in ****, the house built in ****, had
one owner from 1985-91 and myself from **** to now with the ground
    undisturbed.
A reasonable explanation is I paid $680 for a useless first survey, you
knew that you could say the markers were missing even if they weren't
and leave me with a take-it-or-leave-it option of paying another $3,500.
When I told you about my concerns you made no effort to correct the situation or negotiate.
After a month without an invoice I became
concerned about a possible lien so I asked for a bill, which I paid
    in full.
