I hired ***** to paint the interior of the house, prior to moving my items into the house. A price was agreed upon, and he gave a time frame of 7 days to paint the interior and be finished with the job. I had hired ***** on a previous job, and he did a great job.***** failed to meet the 7 day deadline, and instead went 31 days until being fired from the job. A credit was given for the unfinished work. However, as I start to remodel, I am noticing things he said he did, but in fact, never completed. There are several spots on the ceilings of paint, the overspray was on the carpeting downstairs, there is not sufficient paint to cover behind the mirrors, no paint behind some outlet covers, and the finish work was never completed in areas it was said it was. In addition to the uncompleted work, several un replacable and antique items were broken during the process, a wall that was not supposed to be painted was painted, and plaster material on floors, and into a 40 year old decoratove metal garbage can which is now ruined, and paint on artwork, ceilings, frames and front door. The more I begin to look closer, the more unprofessional the job appears and unfinished work and poor craftsmanship is found. The job was not professional, and I was mislead regarding the amount left needed to be done, even though he was a month past the deadline.
