I purchased a car from them in August is 2023, car immediately had an issue, I asked to be put in another car, they said they would fix the problem. Motor mount, when they returned the car it was overheating and the heater was not working. They kept it for a long time, returned it to me and still would have intermittent problems. They ended up keeping it for repairs once again, at this point they have had it longer than I have. Car was returned, over heated again, couldnt drive the car to Salem so a local shop replaced the thermostat. Again now we are Feb ****, car is having the same issues, hose was tore, and car overheated, shop in ******** opened up the hood, the car sales place swapped out the motor for a junk yard one without my knowledge. Now the car is sitting there and I had put a big down payment snd still have a loan on this car. Not fair, it was an ongoing problem, they shouldve just put me in another vehicle when I asked for them to do so.

We did sell this vehicle back in August on 2023, the car did have an issue about 2 weeks after purchase. We put Buyer into a loaner car. Once vehicle was back in our possession we reach out to the buyer and let her know it was ready. The vehicle was in working order when given back to buyer early October. We were never aware of any further issues. Fast forward to Early February. ***** took vehicle to a shop located in ******** ****** where she stated they replaced a thermostat, a week or so after ******** shop replaced thermostat Car was towed into our lot. in our inspection of the vehicle we noticed the coolant hose leading to the thermostat had burst. We dont have any affiliation with the ******** shop nor did we have them perform any work authorized by us Prestige Auto Center. We stand behind our word, we addressed the issue when the issue arose from time of purchase. If we were noticed of persistent issues the shop we had the work performed at would have been responsible. This was also back in September 2023. We will not be liable or responsible for the work that was performed at ******** Auto Body. Buyer authorized for ******** Auto Body to work on the vehicle 4 months after we had returned the vehicle in working on. I would take full responsibility if we were the ones that caused the issue. Its very unfortunate that this happen. But once again we cannot be responsible for the work performed at ******** Auto Body, which we have no affiliation with whatsoever. And we did not authorize that work to be performed.

I am rejecting this response because:
The business also placed an engine from the junk yard without my knowledge m, I believe with the intermittent problems this was the cause of the car to fail exceptional performance.
    Sincerely,
