    I paid $6000 for their bookkeeping service. I did not receive them. I had to hire a new accountant to get our book keeping completed.

    Hurliman CPA emailed the client a reconciliation of ******** and hours spent on their account.  We have issued a refund check for the difference that client has accepted.

    Hurliman CPA was handling my business ***************. They did a terrible job with the books so we moved to another bookkeeper - but not until we had already paid for our taxes to be done. I was given my business taxes May 30 and I paid their cost and all monies owed to the state and *** on that day. I got a letter from the *** giving me a penalty for not filing later in the year and it wasn't until I went into their office that I was told they didn't actually file my taxes until May.They wrote a letter to the *** and it was not accepted and the *** is now charging me $850 for the error. Hurliman CPA won't reply to emails or phone calls. I would like to avoid having to take them to court but am not sure how to handle the *** other than paying for this error I didn't cause.

    I absolutely do not recommend this accounting firm. They are truly what *** nightmares are made of. Read along and find out the truth.1. Go view "*******************************" current 2 week old review. What happened to her happened to me in only far worse fashion.2. Read "*****************" review as well: very poor. 3. Read "Mykel Walkers" review: very poor as well. 4. The trouble started when I called the *** in May of 2022 on an unrelated matter. That's when I found out the 1120S Corporate filing had not been done.5. Now I face a $5000.00 fine.6. **** will surely tell you I did not pay him. Rest assured I did pay him and can prove it. Feel entirely free to contact me for all the proof needed to settle the matter. Most of you know who I am. The turbo guy. 7. **** not only failed to do his job he lied and argued non stop for several years. 8. He told the ****** of ************ that I fired him in **************************************************************************************** January through May of 2020. The man is incapable of being honest. 9. Next **** will argue until the cows come home that he is not guilty of anything when rest assured if he don't like you he will pretend everything is going as planned and never alert you that all is about to go to h*** in a handbasket.10. Professionalism at this low of a level deserves being stripped of his business license. 11. My lawyer says now we have what is called damages and get to *** good ol ****. 12. So if you want fun...real fun (Nightmares actually) here is where you go to get your taxes so poorly done or not done at all you too can get ulcers. 13. **** you are special...

    We have attached our response provided to **************** on 4/26/2020 to assist his transition to a new accountant with ample time to avoid IRS penalties. 


    This complaint filed with the BBB is the second iteration of the same complaint.

    Lastly, the names mentioned above (************* and Mykel Walkers) are not clients of our firm and have never been serviced by Hurliman CPA.

    ******** Hurliman did no such thing as he has stated. He is lying out of his teeth as usual. He had $1500 of my money between January 1st of 2020 May 30th of 2020 when I fired him. He did not refuse service I fired him. ******** is an absolute snake. He is a liar, he is anything but what he represents himself to be. I for one cannot wait until my lawyer sinks him with the $5000 IRS fine as well the lawyers fees because the truth will come out and once and for all shut his lying mouth. I will get satisfaction proving he did not do even so much as one word here he claims. He is the quintessential snake charmer. He is the epitome of a liar. If he did what he said make him prove he discharged me. He did not I fired him. He did not do one single thing he states he did and if he did how on God's green earth did my company taxes for 2019 not get filed and why did he not inform me that he was not filing them and he did not do late filing status. He is the earths greatest liar i have ever come to know.
