It was to be rewired and signed off by city. The company couldn't get the electrical signed off so they wanted me to put the kitchen in so they could get it signed off. Now the kitchen is in and they want to charge an additional $900 to get the permit signed off they pulled.

      Business Response

      Date: 03/25/2024

There are three points we would like to make about our work with *****************************.

*Early in 2022 ******* had signed a quote (see attached quote) and contracted with us to Rewire her Residence. We explained at the time, and it was noted in the quote that the walls would need to be open (dry wall removed).  When we arrived to start the work that had not been done. ******* said she changed her mind and didnt open the walls. We explained it would be an additional charge to pull wire; possible $2000 or more. She said that was fine and we continued. When we billed her for our services, she said she wasnt paying for that additional work.

*We wired the kitchen per her drawing, but the county would not sign off on the work without the cabinets being in place, so late in 2022 we paused work so she could have the cabinets installed. May of 2023 ******* and Electri-Tech received notice that the permit would be expiring soon (see attached letter). In December of 2023 ******* called to inform us the kitchen had been completed and we could now finish our work. We emailed ******* letting her know that the permit needed to be reissued and we would go over everything and get her an updated quote. Our Manager spoke with ******* at this time. In January 2024 we emailed a quote for $901.45 to re-in state and finalize the permit. We followed up with an email that the quote had been sent. ******* responded that she didn't receive the quote and she filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

******** placed a call to us and proceeded to scream profanities at our receptionist.

No one could send tell me if the electrical permit had been signed off. They wouldnt pull up the electrical permit for me. The receptionist said she couldn't do it and couldn't understand what I was saying. No I would never curse at them. I was trying to see what they called out on the inspection and if the final was done. They never explained anything or called me. Then I found the inspector wanted the kitchen installed. We are finally working back on this house again trying to get the electrical passed we are almost done. Just need the bathroom vanity installed. And that's it.
The receptionist lady was new and had no idea what she was doing used to be ******** I did pay extra.
