March,3 2022 on road trip, van kept dying, got towed to Docs auto repair. Left van 3 days got alternator and belt. Paid $543.35. Left for ********, died going home got jumped & bought new battery..but, kept needing jumped. Went back to seaside, going to Docs, April 1st van died again, broke down middle of street Friday night..got pushed to curb, went to eat, sprained ankle, sat in van all weekend no ice, no heat. Monday started. Drove to docs 9am. I sat in van ALL DAY before someone looked at alternator, it started so they said NOTHING WRONG with it. I left for urgent care 5pm. Next morning i drove home. I had battery checked. good battery but not charging fully.June did road trip to ******* city, died middle of hiway, police directed traffic, my sons bought me another battery from orileys. Started right up, we went to seaside, **** said nothing wrong with alternator following week uneventful. Didn't drive much so had to jump it to go to store . Labor day decided to go to seaside ..I got 40 miles out of ******** driving 65 and my VAN ******** lost steering, and it overheated, i almost went over the cliff!!! I let it cool down then drove back half mile to gas station/ repair shop.Worker Tex, came over to look under hood then went around van and pulled fan belt out from under, chopped up and not even the right size. Seems docs took out smog pump so belt would fit..*** noted that the alternator nut was not tighted and worked loose over 4 months finaly slinging off the belt. It was after 4 on Friday labor day weekend so shops were closed. At 6pm I got towed to ******* auto repair in Banks ****** where I sat outside his business 3.5 days in the 100 degree heat with little food and only a few bottles water until they opened on Tuesday. ******* got me in right away and agreed alternator was DEFECTIVE and not charging battery correctly. He put in new alternator and belt. I paid $312.20... IF Docs checked they would have known alternator they put in was defective.

We did remove smog pump its on the invoice she signed and she knows why ,per her request as the pulley was grinding and not long before it siezed up, and one was not available at that time as her as her is a **** , but she was in a hurry,. each time  she came in the battery and the alternator was charging, like I told her at that time we have a two year warranty on our work thru pro advantage  it pays 100 percent of the bill ** related to our repair,  if I would have seen a voltage drop when she came in I would have replaced it as I get paid from the warranty company 100 percent of the repair so It really doesn't make since to run a customer off ,as for the ********************** not being done properly  it was looked over and nothing at the time stood out as a problem ,now for her refund she needs to go to pro advantage online summit her claim and she will be reimbursed. , and she was fully aware of our warrenty being nation wide  posters and the pamphlets are all over our office , and I told her she didn't need to drive to us as it is covered , ** anyone wants to contact us our number is ********** , also sry it's not properly wrote out as I'm on my phone and have no access to a computer , but wanted to reply . Thanks for your time
