Squish (AKA Squash) Pest Control serviced my property located at ******************** for a brief period of time on a quarterly basis. Eventually I attempted to cancel the service because I did not find them reliable. I was unable to get a person on the phone, but I called several times, responded to emailed invoices, and left messages. They stopped coming to our house for several months, and then out of the blue showed up to to another service. I told the employee that I had cancelled the service and he left, I then started receiving invoices again. I refused to pay the invoices, and made several more attempts to contact the company. I have never heard anything back. This was all more than 6 months ago. Now last week I received a new invoice. I no longer own this home and would like them to stop charging me for services I have tried to cancel.Initial Complaint

Dispute issue with Squash Pest ControlLLC/Squish Pest Control I started service 8/6/22. After terrible service (only twice in the year) I cancelled service (notified by email 7/2024). October someone left me a voicemail and showed up at my house to service my home (I wasnt able to reach him prior to arriving and I wasnt home). Once I reached him and explain I do not have service with them and had canceled, he asked me to send him my cancellation email. He confirmed he received it and said he was going to include it with the invoice so I would not get billed. He also said this was happening with a lot of other clients because the owner was trying to generate business after the two owners. I received a bill for service, and continue to receive the monthly statements. I responded back to those statements at least three times telling him I do not have a contract, he was not supposed to provide service and just stop billing me. I received no reply. 1/02/24 I received a message from *****, he was on his way to service my home. I contacted him back before he got to my home and explained the situation and what happened in September. He said he would not arrive at my home so the *** would not show he had ever been there, and he did not perform service. I still received a bill for service not performed. I text *****, who relayed a message to **** and provides me with contact info (though it didn't help). I received another bill for 4/24 even though they were never at my home. I continue to receive bills for three services $225 I don't owe, two of them not even performed. July **************************** through my ****** account. I declined the bill and reported it as fraud. August 13, 2024. I spoke with ****** directly and reported it. I can't get them to stop, and am concerned they are going to try to turn me into collections and damage my credit. This is not a company to do business with!!!!Initial Complaint

I called to stop service in October 2023. They sprayed 124/23. Made my ******* sick. I moved out due to selling home. They sprayed 3/16/24. I called and emailed finally spoke to ************************* he said to pay my bill and I didnt email and was very mean and rude. Got an invoice for 11/4/23 and 3/16/24 noting spraying again tomorrow 6/28/24. Left emails and voicemails to not spray and not allowed on my property.Initial Complaint

I have used Squish Pest Control (now apparently also called "Squash") for the past several years. However, the past two years, their service has markedly degraded. They show up, unannounced, at all times of day/evening, even at 8am on a Sunday. I asked them last summer to give me notice before showing up. They never did. In October 2023, they came for the quarterly appointment and treated the house for ants. Two weeks later I contacted them to come back and re-treat and they advised they would. No one ever showed up. In January 2024, they showed up (again, unannounced) for the quarterly service and I cancelled them, and sent the svc tech away. NOW they are telling me that I have to give 30 days notice and are threatening to send the $110 fee (for the **************** which did not happen) to collections. I never agreed, nor signed any contract with them agreeing to give them 30 days notice of cancellation. Now they are also spamming me with emails, saying I owe them for the October 2023 visit (I do NOT owe them for that and I have the credit card statement to prove it). Because they automatically charged my credit card each visit, I have now cancelled that credit card out of an abundance of caution in case they tried to put charges on it. This company is threatening me with collections over a service they did not provide because I cancelled it. HELP!!!Initial Complaint

I booked a squirrel removal service for $199 based on an online coupon for a rental property. When the technician arrived, he charged my tenant $179 for an inspection only. No squirrel removal was provided. My tenant paid this unfortunately, which should not have happened. Then tech called me and said they connote refund the $179 although I never scheduled an inspection only service. This business did not provide the service I scheduled and then charged for services I did not order or need, then refused a refund.Business Response

Charge of ****** paid in full at time of set up for cleanup following completion of services for wildlife removal. This was offered as I was ensured this service needed once wildlife activity controlled, following an inspection of outer premises of accesses to house, and pre-payment of this cleanup service offered discount of regular services thereafter. Company captured 3 animals &removed w/additional charge at capture per my understanding of contract. When activity ceased, extended amounts of time went by w/out response to phone calls or email. This consumer made several calls then to discontinue services as no response rendered. A Technician did come to home at one time unscheduled, then offering construction experience, and knowledge of cutting a notch and so on to secure accesses. Reports not licensed or bonded but had years of experience. This consumer declined any access to home at that visit, respectfully. Did receive calls back X 2 or 3 from a manager, believe name of ****, who reported apologies and plan to speak to the owner for that refund. Same manager notified that sales staff who signed up for contract had separated from company sometime after setting up this consumers contract. At time of final contact via email which has never been responded to, charge remains on card, no access to attic or crawl space rendered, no inspection or cleaning services post wildlife removal ever completed, no refund or return communication received. Blatant charging for services not rendered. Another company has since completed service for less price, confirming inappropriateness of charges and estimate for needs as have accessed crawl space of home multiple times.Initial Complaint

I have been working with Squish Pest Control since July of this year. They helped us capture raccoons that were living under our house. At the time if signing up to be a customer (i have the signed contracts) they stated that if you pre-pay for the clean out service once you're 2 weeks post capture you'll pay $299 an hour for 3 hours vs the $399 an hour if you don't pre-pay. I knew that having it cleaned out was going to be something we wanted to sign up for so I pre-paid. As of August 17th we were near the 2 weeks post capture, so I attempted to reach out and schedule the cleaning service. They did not reach out and did not remove the traps until 9/25. I have the invoice telling me to reach out to schedule. Since then, I have called at least 15 times, have left 11+ messages- and i have not heard ANYTHING back. There was one phone contact attempted that I could not answer, but was able to call back within 30 minutes and nothing. I kept trying. I have called and talked to the operator and all they can do is keep forwarding me to the voicemail of ************************* (i get this every single time I call). And I continue to hear nothing. I am now are the point where I want my money back but I am hearing nothing. I have called and asked to speak to a supervisor and they always say no one is available. I am at my ***** end with this company.
