I hired Lincoln county builders to build a deck for me. This is not a complaint about the 5 and a half months it took to complete it, the deck was finally finished and Lincoln county builders were paid in full. I have the receipts to prove it. Now Im getting contacted by ******** lumber in ******* ****** because charges that the builder **** on this job were never paid. Now ********* lumber is threatening to put a lien on my house if they cant collect the money from Lincoln county builders. This is absolutely absurd to me. What do you do?

Well you definitely dont close your contractors account for 2 weeks.
And should listen to the person and company who has told you its just a notice like the one you got at the beginning of the job.
For there protection and yours and mine.
This has been a long difficult situation to listen to.
There was a complaint for not getting back to you in two days and then the belittling rude bully tactics through entire job.
while you know Im paying for and reframing your deck for free. I did these things because of delay. This still wasnt enough you had to go around town and say anything you wanted to insure I was harmed by your words acted on just felling with out concern of me.
But at the end of the day I will pay the bill as you already know. But actions you were told and doing definitely has set this in motion
