Crunch Fitness is fraudulently charging my partner and I after cancellation. We were initially charged amounts that did not align with our contract four times - they charged us different amounts and on different dates than our contract stated. Crunch would not help us refund after contacting them numerous times (though they agreed our charges were incorrect) so we eventually disputed with our bank and won. Due to the incorrect charges, we contacted corporate employee- ****, who forwarded our email to our home gym letting them know to let us out of our contract free of charge. We went in person, ****** had us sign a cancellation form on 01.31.25 showing that we are officially cancelled and we owe $0, as advised by ****. Four days after cancelling - 02.04.25 Crunch attempted to charge each of us ***** & *****. These charges were blocked by our bank from winning the earlier dispute. Now Crunch says this is a past due payment that we owe. Crunchs policy is to send past due payments to collections, so this needs to be removed from our account before it goes to collections. There should be no further charges after our cancellation on 01.31.25, as we were let out of our contract so any terms of that/cancellation fees do not apply. It is their policy to charge anything owed prior to cancellation. We were not charged anything at cancellation and the paper we signed shows $0 owed, aligning with being let out of the contract. Looking for these past due charges to be dropped and to stop being fraudulently charged.
