I got a job for this company through the unemployment office Oregon Work Source. I was contracted out to a different company than I started out with and then I ended up working for iron shield I work two jobs each one was different I worked at jamboree music festival I worked the Oregon State Fair and both times was a horrible experience. They claim that they had some shuttles to get you to the work spot but those never were real they asked as our pants size in her shoe size because they're supposedly supposed to get us some gear but never did we never got jackets we never got hats when we were out there we were renting a polo-shirt and that's all we got.I can't get back home and back to the work site and time cuz if I'm working 11 hours and then you drive all the way back to ****** and then to drive all the way back. It would cost more than I would be making and would be way too time-consuming. So there was a camping spot it was in the middle of a parking lot in front of a church in the heat in the summer. You have to pay $4 for a shower. And then when I try to get paid for that job it took 30 plus days and it was very difficult and the only reason that I got paid is because the ***************** team member ****** contacted me and asked how my employment was and then I told him how it was going nobody's seen a paycheck and I'm working at the State Fair and I still hadn't seen the paycheck from the jamboree so I go all the way out to the State Fair which is in ***** ****** and I pay for a $13 train ticket there $13 train ticket back I had to sleep in the horse stables the first day I was working I worked 10 and a half hours and then worked eight after that for four more days in a row. There is no food nothing for any employee. I'm owed wages for the second time and forced to contact BOLI. I really worked hard and had the intention that I was going to be treated fairly and not discriminated. I never once got a lunch break.
