Good morning,I received ongoing services from Cascade Acupuncture in The Dalles, OR for a long period. My primary insurance is through my employer, and at the time of services, I carried Washington State health insurance as my secondary. I continued to inform staff via email, telephone, and in-person that I had a secondary insurance to pay my copay, but they insisted that I pay out-of-pocket, and I would be reimbursed later, so I did. I reached out to Cascade Acupuncture via email requesting a refund, but they stated I would be receiving my refund from the state because they never received funds from the state. I mailed receipts and other supporting documentation to the state for a refund. I waited a couple of months, knowing it may be a while before the state reimburses me. After not receiving correspondence from the state, I called and spoke with them. They shared that the state paid Cascade Acupuncture months prior and that Cascade Acupuncture owes me a refund. The state phoned Cascade Acupuncture requesting they refund me, as they are committing fraud. Cascade Acupuncture stated to the state that they hadn't paid me yet because they were waiting to hear from me. I reached out to Cascade Acupuncture again and requested my refund to no avail. I have many emails to the owner, ***** ******, and other staff requesting a refund to no avail. ***** says she is willing to resolve this, but she either ignores my emails altogether or she fails to take action to resolve this. I have a voice message from the state indicating Cascade Acupuncture owes me a refund. If I don't receive my refund, I will file a grievance with ************************ and her governing board until this is resolved. I have provided ***** with at least a year to rectify this. According to my statements listed in my patient portal, Cascade Acupuncture owes me $739.93.
