      ive fallen behind on my payments for trash pick up and I have no problem with paying two out of the three months that ** being charged for beings that they have suspended my trash pick up for the past month five weeks now and have not picked up any trash, but are still trying to charge me for the month worth of trash service I called the main office. I spoke with the operator about collections and explained that I have no problem paying for the months of service that I was serviced however, I will not pay for the month of service that Im being charged. There was no service rendered she stated that they will not continue trash pick up until the account is paid in full and , they do not give credit but they would offer an extra pick up of trash. I dont have any trash to pick up for one. *** already managed to dispose of it properly on my own accord and not let it around. My property gathering several attempts to negotiate a fair deal with this company, she still came up with no solution and is wanting to still charge me for the extra month of service approximately $30 in several different ways. I explain to her that I am not l responsible or going to pay for services that were not rendered and if theyre unwilling to offer a credit to compensate that time. It seems that weve come to a standstill and this is the reason Im reaching out to the BBB for solution has threatened my past due to collections and appears to be unreasonable about creating a fair and valuable solution

      In reviewing the complainants account number *************, the *********************** for the complainant were suspended due to nonpayment on Friday May 17th.The last payment received by the complainant was in the amount of $28.37 on 02/20/2024. Services were suspended after two paper bills had been sent out as well as a phone call advising that payment must be made by May 15th in order to avoid suspension of services. (See attached proof of call). An email would have been sent as well if complainant had provided one to our customer ********************** department. No contact was made by the complainant to make payment arrangements for services received and billed, but not paid. Complainant is serviced on Tuesdays. A total of (4) pickups have been missed since suspension of services 05/21/2024, 05/28/2024, 06/04/2024 & 06/11/2024. (See attached account history) The ********************** does not credit for missed services when a customer is suspended for nonpayment. We do allow the equivalent of the missed services to be picked up at no additional charge once the customer pays their account current. In this case, we will offer a credit as a one-time courtesy in the amount of $25.96. (Monthly billing is $28.10/4.33 weeks in the month=6.49/pickup. $6.49 x 4 missed pick-**** This is a one-time courtesy credit.Further credits will not be issued if the account becomes suspended for nonpayment in the future. To resume services, complainant will need to pay remaining balance of $60.80. (See attached account audit & proof of one time courtesy credit given) The Dalles Disposal offers online bill pay, one-time payments available 24 hours a day and two payment drop off locations. If a customer needs to make a payment arrangement, we are happy to do so if contact is made prior to the account being suspended. The Dalles Disposal values our customers, and we strive to treat them in a courteous, effective manner,showing respect for those we are fortunate enough to serve.

      I have no problem paying for too much with the service at $25.96 for a total of $51.92  this is what I owe for the service rendered and Im good for that money however Im not gonna pay with the requesting $60 and some change, especially when I dont provide the math of how they got there they showed the math of what it is for a pick up and it came up for $28 and some change so I dont see how a monthly bill can go from 25 to 28 with the calculations that they did more than happy to pay $25.96 monthly fee that is due and theres been paid before to make things right but anything above and beyond that is not fair. You charge me one thing for monthly service and then you went through and calculated it, and it came out to be more than what your monthly services, so then why is it the monthly service that price all the time if you want to check for $51.92 its already written. Im just waiting to send it to you in the mail. Do you want to come to a resolution and have forced me to come to the Better Business Bureau to get a resolution because you were trying to charge me for services that were not rendered to many other people across town, not happy with The Dalles disposal and the way that you charge for services that havent been rendered to pay for above and beyond that you cant charge me for what hasnt been done or expect me to sit by *** from business yourself for not providing services, but sending out bills  work it wasnt done. I think that needs to be investigated more than a Better Business Bureau. If youre fraudulently charging people for services that werent rental again Ill be happy to pay the monthly fee times two more than that not reasonable. I work hard for my money just like your employees do picking up the trash and they do a good job , but go charge the customer for what hasnt been done is not right

      trash service has been at May 17. Monthly services are charged for $28.10. The trash services were May 21 May 28, June 4, June 11.

      As of 07/08/2024, complainant has not made contact with our office to make payment. Complainant has not been billed for services since *** 31st, 2024 for *** services. Half of the *** services were credited back as a courtesy. Customer was also given credit for two pick *** in June-these pick*** were not received and not billed. (Please see attached account audit) No payment has been made by customer since February 20th, 2024. Account is currently in a precollect status at 90 days past due. Complainant owes for March, April & partial *** services already received. If payment in full of $61.80 is not received on this account by 5pm on Thursday July 25th, the account will be forwarded to a collections agency. The Dalles Disposal has made every attempt to work with complainant-even issuing extra credits. At this time, payment will need to be received in order to stop further collections actions.

      now Im being sent a voice message last night at 6:05 PM that I have till June 25 to pay $61.80 by 5 PM or my account would be turned over to collections on the letter of June 17 the charge was $60.80 so theyve already tacked on a dollar Mountain Dew as May 31 was as stated above ***** Im willing to pay the $***** to make the account correct because these are services that were rendered I refuse to pay anything above and beyond that for services that are not rendered Im trying theyre trying to charge me for the dates of the 21st to 28 May the fourth and 11 June and then saying that theyre offering me credits for trash pick up I dont have any trash to pick up Ive taken care of my own disposal needs needs so give me a credit is worthless what I want is to pay the amount of money due $***** for the services rendered and then go forward from there not to be charged for services that were not rendered the fact that theyre trying to charge me $61.80 now and then sending me a  voicemail harassment and threats saying that theyre gonna send me to collections on the 25th by May if this amount is not paid when just on June 17 it was $60.80 so as you can see they keep tacking money on and trying to collect for things that theyre not warranted to collect for  I will pay the above amount which was on the bill sent to me for May 31 of $*****   I think thats more than fair that Im paying for services that were rendered but anything above me on that I do not find fair I find it as bullying and trying to force the customer out of additional money for their profit the fact that they try to send a bill initially for $80 and some change to charge for the month of June with zero services have been rendered is black-and-white without a doubt that they are charging customers for *********************** not rendered which is not right and that needs to be adjusted on their half that is stealing money from the customers when they are charging for a ********************** that is not been done again Ill pay the $***** more than happy thats what I agree to nothing more nothing less I dont want any credits I dont need any credits I will pay for the services that have been rendered thank you

      As shown in audits provided on previous replies, Complainants account has indeed been credited over & above courtesy. The Dalles Disposal has provided services to **************** for March, April & partial May services and have yet to see payment even after courtesy credit was issued. At this time no future credits will be issued.  A balance of $61.80 must be posted to ******************** account no later than 5pm on Thursday July 25th to avoid the account being forwarded on to a third party collections agency. In the future, should Complainant's account become delinquent for nonpayment, no credits will be given when the account is in a suspension status. The Dalles Disposal offers many avenues to reach out office if a payment arrangement is needed prior to the account becoming suspended. Complainant can reach out office via telephone at ************, our in person office at ********************************************************************************* (Mon-Fri from 9am-5pm), via email at ******************************************************* & via our website, www.thedallesdisposal.com.

      I am rejecting this response because: their math does not add up theyre trying to charge me late fees while weve been in deliberation and this is the first Ive seen of any credit that was issued I dont need trash credit pick up when I need his bottom dollar what I owe services rendered and not a cooked up number as its been seen from the numbers they gave last month to this month theyre not the same so right then narrow itself shows that these people are not honest and the way theyre doing business and they are trying to get into everyones pocket with nothing coming out of their pocket which is a disgrace and crime on the public as stated before more than gladly paid the $51 and change that is due but Im not paying anything above or beyond that stupid late fees for whatever kind of whatever other kind of cooked up my pocket for money deal presenting

      I paid my bill and they still took my trashcans. They said they can't bring back my trashcans until next Monday even though I paid my bill last week and are charging me a fee to redeliver even though it's their online bill pay service and collection process that *****.

      In reviewing the complainant's account number *************, the complainant owed a balance of
      $57.02 that was due 07/15/2022 for July/August services. Complainant was billed again 09/01/2022 
      for September/October services. A past due phone call and email was sent to the customer on 
      08/11/2022 advising that the account would be suspended if payment not made by 08/15/2022. Another 
      set of past due phone calls and emails were sent on 09/09/2022 advising of further collections 
      actions if payment wasn't made by 09/15/2022. Order to remove carts for nonpayment was created on 
      09/21/2022.
      Customer paid $161.03 online on 09/30/2022. The online bill pay systems states payments can take 
      2-3 business days to post. Payment was posted after carts were removed. When carts are removed for 
      nonpayment, there is a redelivery fee assessed to bring them back out. Customer was given the 
      option to pick up carts at our location at no charge or wait until their next service date for 
      delivery. Account was resumed and the customer ********************** representative placed a work order allowing 
      customer to place their trash at the curb in bags to avoid further missed pick up. No refund is due 
      at this time. The Dalles Disposal values our customers, and we strive to treat them in a courteous, 
      effective manner, showing respect for those we are fortunate enough to serve.

      I am rejecting this response because: I attached a bank screenshot of the bill clearing on 9/30. I have video of this business picking up my trash cans on 10/3/2022. Three days after the bill cleared my bank my account. I actually made the payment Tuesday 9/27 the week before.  I have a screenshot of that I can also forward. I can also forward the video of your garbage guys bullshitting in my driveway and making my dogs bark like crazy yesterday when they delivered the trash cans a day later then they were supposed to. Idgaf if I paid my bill late. The issue you collected my trash cans 3 f****** days after I paid my bill. After I paid for a service that you then took away. I want a refund for the trash cans being delivered as they never should have been collected in the first place. I also spoke ****** and **** who told me the process was already in place and they couldn't stop my trash cans from being picked up. Sounds like you have a f****** process problem which isn't my problem because I paid my f****** bill.

      Once an account is placed in to a precollect status, payment must post to their account before the order to remove our property due to nonpayment can be cancelled. Removal orders are placed after at least 2 invoices, emails and phone calls are sent advising of delinquent account status. Online bill payment system states payments take 2-3 business days to post. The payment was not remitted until 09/30, it posted the next business day, October 3rd. (see attachment of complainant's online bill pay account.) Complainant has called in and we went over this information more than once. Complainant was also advised that any contact with our office during between 07/15/2022 and 09/21/2022 would have stopped the carts from being removed. Office was contacted after order was placed. Carts were removed before payment posted. Complainant was given the option to pick the trash carts to avoid a redelivery fee. No refund is due at this time.

      I don't want this case to be filed as resolved. I can update the bank info I sent with a confirmation email that proves I paid 9/28. I also called them twice that same week to to ask them if they could update my account as paid. All I have to show that is a call log. They told me the only choice I had was to call back Friday and pay my bill again for a second time to guarantee they wouldn't collect my trash cans because their collection process was already in process. The bill was $160.00. I didn't have an exrta payment on top of the one I just made. I've never had a business tell me I had to make second payment over the phone more quickly to replace the ********** just to make sure they got theirs. They told me they record calls but I know they won't provide those. It just feels like a lost cause to me to pursue this any further. Anybody you reach here for customer ********************** is trying to back stab any customer they possibly can.

      All calls are recorded. The calls were reviewed. Our customer ********************** representative gave the complainant the correct information. Once an account is in a precollection status the only way to stop our property from being removed from a customer's address is to make a payment that posts to the account. Any contact with our office to make payment arrangements or advise of payment prior to order being placed for removal would have stopped the process. No contact was made with our office for 4 months regarding payment. Previous documentation shows customer paid online on 09/30/2022. In the future, any contact complainant makes prior to being 60 days past due will stop precollection actions. Carts have been returned, service has been resumed. The Dalles Disposal values our customers, and we strive to treat them in a courteous, effective manner, showing respect for those we are fortunate enough to serve.
