    My apartment called this business. The techs were okay, but their minds were stuck in a narrow bedbug rut. It is the owner or manager who is egregiously ignorant. "If I can't see it, it's your imagination" is beyond ignorant. It is also a tad outdated: ********************************************* was commended by the royal society for his microscopic work in ****. Even Wikipedia has entries on rodent mite dermatitis and avian mites. The Summit Pest manager or owner goes beyond ignorance to bigotry: he pronounced an apartment resident as having "delusional parasitosis". It is easier for the ignorant manager to profile certain groups of people as delusional rather than factual, and easier for him to call someone names, than to be knowledgeable and competent. Fortunately, I corresponded with a different business -- a genuinely competent pest control company's manager. He mentioned a possible cause of bringing mites inside, and I was able to trace back to when that had happened. I was on my own for spraying a combination of quick-acting and a residual for eventually slowly eradicating the tiny arachnids. With an ignorant, dismissive, and bigoted pest control manager, you *have* to be on your own. Who is more likely to be ignorant and delusional: a profiled citizen who found the original cause of the infestation, who learned about rodent and avian mites, who learned about, and applied, quick-acting and residual miticides on their own -- or someone who profiles groups of people and name-calls them as delusional, and failed to recognize and failed to treat their infestation?
