    I hired Take Care Move Assistance to pack and move our belongings to a new living unit. They also offer unpacking, but I chose not to have them unpack. My son's celebration of life was on the weekend following the move, and I wanted to take my time unpacking. The operations manager (**) said that that was fine as long as I got all the boxes back to the company. However, a few days before the move, ** tried to get me to agree to have ********* unpack. I felt that was "bait and switch." A couple days later, she said her boss wanted me to pay for the boxes and then get a credit when I returned them--about $720. I agreed to that. After I had paid, she said the moving company went out of business and would not give me credit for the boxes.

    I'm sorry that a refund was not issued. Yes, I'm the ops manager and the customer did sign the agreement that she would receive a credit for boxes that were still usable. Was about $720 that could have been credited back. Customer didn't want us to unpack and respect her decision. As the ops manager I did everything to help her get the refund for the boxes. It wasn't my decision. The company that went out of business made the decision not to honor the agreement that was made. I picked up the boxes for free and disposed of them. I'm sorry the decision was out of my hands since I don't own the business or have a say.
