Looking on the internet for a LOCAL appliance repair man I came across Zenith Appliance Repair. I called them and they said that they can schedule an appointment for the next day between 8 - 11 AM. She also stated that they needed a bank card so that she could confirm that I was a legit customer, I told her that I prefer to pay cash - However she assured me that my card would NOT be charged. 10 minutes after talking to her, my bank card WAS CHARGED $70. The next morning my son took off of work to be here when the repair man came for the appointment. No one ever showed up and no one called. I had given her my phone number, which is a LANDLINE. I called the company to ask where the repairman was. She told me that she canceled the appointment because they did not have a repairman in the area. I asked her when she could get one in the area. She said she did not know when that would be. I asked her WHY she did not call me to let me know about the cancelation, she said she texted my number. I told her it was a landline. Then I asked her why she charged my bank card $70 when she said she would not AND why she did not check about repairmen in MY AREA BEFORE she CHARGED MY CARD. While talking to her on the phone I googled their address and it turns out that it is actually a food processing company in my town. Yet on their website the address is listed as their HEADQUARTERS address. I asked her to IMMEDIATELY refund my $70 that she processed without my authorization. She said it would take **** business days. My son lost a days pay from his work because of this company. They should pay for the loss of income that they deliberately created with their bogus appointment. I now see their web site URL has changed to: http://206.81.10.12/
