    - On December 18, 2023, I received treatment from Senestaro Orthodontics and I received and paid for a retainer, I paid $380 for the service in full. - Senestaro Orthodontics told me I should pay in full and they would claim with my insurance later.- in early Jan 2024 I contacted my old insurer Delta Dental who confirmed they sent Senestaro a cheque a week prior for $190 - that same day I called Senestaro Orthodontics and they said they had not received the cheque and I should call back in a few weeks - I was overseas for Feb so I called Senestaro March 14, 2024 enquiring why I had no received the $190 pass through from my insurance - The person on the line told me it can take longer than three months and this was their company policy, she could not tell me why it would take this long or when I would receive my own money back, she was evasive as to why the money has not been passed through to me already. - As far as I am concerned this is a fraudulent transaction as Senestaro have further benefitted from my insurance, when I paid for the service in full - I respectfully request the $190 back which my own insurance should have paid me, not Senestaro

    Hello, thank you for reaching out and bringing this matter to our attention.  I will personally see to it that you are refunded as of today, 3/18/2024.  It is not our policy to retain payments for three months when insurances pay towards retainers, so we will get that addressed internally.  I'm terribly sorry this was your experience with our practice as it is outside of how we handle these situations.  If you have any further concerns, please feel free to reach out to me directly at *******************************************.
