    We hired SFW to remove lead paint from the exterior of our home and repaint. The workers showed up without a port-a-potty or a hepa planer, and took regular breaks to go to the gas station, rest in our hammock, and smoke weed in their trailer (multiple neighbors witnessed this.) One day, a worker left a few hours into the day, yet we were charged for a full 8 hours of labor. No plastic was laid down, at times a regular sander (not a hepa sander) was used, and the workers did not wear masks or bunny suits. After 2 days of work, our property was covered in a fine layer of paint dust, they had not finished preping a single side of the house, and had gone through a quarter of our budget. My husband called the contractor and asked that we stop work to talk about the plan moving forward. The contractor (***********************) said he would be at our house at 0700 next morning. At 1000, he still was not there and when my husband called, he said he was at another site. When my husband told him that we couldnt do anymore work until he came and looked at the site, he said it sounds like we need to get customer service involved, and hung up. In the middle of the night, the work trailer was picked up and an open bag of lead paint chips was left in the middle of the street. When my husband spoke to customer service, we were told we would get a new proposal to finish the work in a few days. 2 weeks later we still had not received a proposal. My husband called to ensure we were not expected to pay for the second day of work, as we had paid an equivalent deposit by which the amount could be pulled from. They reluctantly agreed and offered no apology. In the end I had to finish the work myself, as there was exposed lead paint and siding. Afterwards, I left an honest and factual review. The next day my husband got a threatening phone call from SFW stating that we were in violation of our contract and that if we didnt remove the review, they would invoice us for another day of work.
