      I am writing regarding my recent experience with Oregon Sprinklers. Based on my recent experience, I caution anyone against hiring them for any service as they proved to be dishonest, negligent, and untrustworthy. Not only was their work detrimental to my system, but my interactions with them were also unprofessional and lacked any consideration for me as a customer. I was left shocked, frustrated, and disappointed at every touchpoint.

      We appreciate our customers and their feedback. It is frustrating to have an irrigation system not working. Unfortunately, diagnosis and repair is not cut and dry; With irrigation being underground we cannot see all the variables and we are limited to the information as we get it. There is the additional frustration that fixing one issue does not prevent other issues from occurring immediately thereafter. (Like in the mechanic field: Getting new brakes does nothing to stop the engine from throwing a rod the next day.)

      The initial visit was to look at some leaking sprinkler heads. ************** replaced the old heads with new ones and when he left the heads were not leaking. When we were contacted again about even more heads leaking, we went back out. We made three visits in a four-week period to try and diagnosis the issue as new indicators became apparent. We hypothesized this was no longer a sprinkler head issue but a valve issue. Since the homeowner did not know where the valves for his system were located, ************** spent time visually looking for them to no avail.

      It is our standard procedure to have the customer sign a customer agreement which gives us permission to be on the property. When the customer decided not to sign the agreement so we could trace the valve with our equipment, we were unable to proceed and left the property.

      The technician billed his initial visit upon replacing the heads. The additional three visits for diagnosis were not billed.

      It was never our intention to leave our customers feeling frustrated or cause grief. We did the repairs that we thought would fix the problem, but the system simply needs more attention.

      We are truly sorry this has not been the experience they or we wanted to have.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      They are still not addressing the main reasons for the complaint.

      A. The same sprinklers were leaking the same day they left the property it wasn't different heads leaking like they responded with. They also had a replaced sprinkler pipe that completely blew off. The valve issue occurred after that not before.

      E mail from owner.

      "At that time not, all were leaking. Replacing with *** heads designed for low head leak seemed appropriate. At that time not all heads were leaking, which would indicate a valve issue".

      If they had mentioned leaking heads would indicate a valve issue on the first visit, we could have gone that way for a repair instead of replacing leaking sprinkler heads with new sprinkler heads that leaked the same as the ones they replaced.

      Regarding not signing the paperwork when they disconnected my controller, they didn't ask for a signature until they had disconnected the controller. When we refused to sign the paperwork because the technician said the valve tracking would be comped, they left and did not put my controller back in working condition.

      I paid to have them fix my system they made it worse.
