      Had my car towed from AAA tow insurance. They sent out ******* towing, while loafing they popped one tire. Then while unloading they dropped my car, rolled off the tow truck onto the ground.

      Following a traffic accident they towed my vehicle to their yard. Before I had a chance to retrieve my possessions from the car, or review the damage, Roger's released the vehicle to the wrecking yard. When we tracked the vehicle down, all our possessions were missing from the car. Roger's claimed that a breakin happened at their lot, and the thieves were responsible for the missing items but it makes no sense for thieves to steal hygiene products, floor mats, car manuals, pens, and business cards. The breakin doesnt even explain why our car was released without our approval. After the incident we contacted Roger's and they requested a list of missing items for an insurance claim. They spent the next 3 months refusing to return our calls, and when finally confronted in person they told us they wouldnt be making a claim and we could do nothing about it. At this point I dont believe our car was broken into at all, they just cleaned out the car themselves and pocketed anything of value.

      On 1/16/23 I broke down on the exit ramp of exit 6 on the beltline hwy. There was an ice storm going on, temperatures were in the 20s. I pulled my car tpo the shoulder of the exit ramp, I called Aplha Towing to tow the car to ********************, However Rogers Towing, Stole the car , took it to ****** ******, claimed they had authorization from ODOT (****** ********** of *************** but could not give me any documentation of such claim. My tow truck company I hired went to pick up the vehicle, Rogers towing was already there and according to Alpha towing refused to let the company I hired to tow the vehicle. They stole my vehicle, if Alpha towing didn't tell me what happened I would have no idea where my car was. I called Rogers towing who claimed the charge was $440..00 for stealing my car, and I had to pay in CASH , They refused payment by credit card, again stating this was an ODOT policy but again could not show me any information that this might be correct. If I didn't drive from ****** to ****** to pay them this $440.00 charge I would also be charged $100.00 a day impound fees until I can pick the vehicle up. ( Again I asked for documentation to substantiate their claim and of course they didn't have any paperwork to back up their claim. So i at 4pm on 1/16 while it was sleeting/raining/icing I had to drive my wifes car to ******, get $440.00 out of the **** took me an hour to get to ****** to pay them this extorsion. I am shocked that this could still go on in 2023 and companies like this can hold your vehicle ******. I am seeking at least 1/2 of my money back as I hired another tow truck company to take it back to ******, I was charged by ALPHA after hours charge and extreme conditions charge and yet this was 1/2 the cost of rogers towing who just stole my car and held it for ******.
