Poor choice on our part, overpriced and took two years to do a six month job. Took short cuts, was difficult to work with or even talk to. Missing for weeks at a time and overbooked with other jobs. Failed several inspections, not a professional. Do not recommend.

Just the facts; 1) ************ was terminated by me for poor workmanship, failure to comit or keep to a schedule, and showed up sporadically rather than daily with zero information provided.2)There were more than a dozen errors in the build under ************ work that had to be fixed to meet code. It was an additional $27K to repair the building to meet code and have it safe to move forward.3) ************ walked with $67K of my money. $32K was given as early payment for materials not purchased, and electrical work not completed. I asked him to return the money that he was not entitled to, and he told me he spent it. There was not a scrap of materials delivered to me to justify he spent my money on my project.4) Due to inexperience, I failed to research ************ on the *** website; in accordance with my claim number, my complaint is the 13th complaint filed. I am the 5th in the last 6 years.

The following response was sent to the Contractors ************************* (CCB) in Salem on 8/11/202.Detail History of XXXXXXXX Garage Project HOMEOWNER hired Dxxx xxxxxx ****************** to design and draft plans for a new Garage with a Deck for her home. The tiled Deck will be above the new Garage. The plans were submitted to the ******** ******************* and stamped and approved, without any necessary Engineering requirements. I contracted with XXXXXXXX on 08/08/2022 to build her Garage/Deck per these approved, permitted plans. The Permit # for the plans is 21-XXXXXX-000-00-XX. The Excavation work began on 02/09/2022.During Excavation for the Garage, the sewer line was found to be under the area of the new Garage. I advised them to change the deck top height of the Garage, instead of the alternative of moving the sewer line which, would have been both costly and time consuming. Agreed to this change. This change was signed 04/08/2022.Two revisions to the plan design have since been made by XXXXXXXX on this Project, one approved on April 26, 2022 regarding Balloon Framing and Hand Rail Attachments. This revision has been built by me at this time. A 2nd revision to the plan design was drawn, and submitted on, or around June 9th to remove the framework form the first revision, enlarge the Garage Deck Platform and concrete walkways, and change the Upper Hand-Rail system again. This revision is basically to remove and rebuild the first revision with a different design, basically take apart what I have just constructed. Once she saw the progress of the 1st revision, HOMEOWNER communicated her husband did not accurately explain to Dxxx xxxxxx ****************** her ideas for the deck rails and supports, and this is why she wanted another revision to the design. She also complained wanted Dxxx xxxxxx payment in full for his services to design the revision before he would submit it to the ******** *******************. HOMEOWNER informed me of this on June 9th and wanted to meet me at 5:00 PM to meet when her husband was home. When I arrived, she told me she could not take it anymore and wanted us to part ways on the project. She called later and asked me to come back the next day and, when I arrived, she asked me to pick up my tools and not return. I was expecting the next progress of payment of $XX,*** after the deck is installed per our Contract. Completing the deck would take **** days with an additional material cost of approximately $750 as most of the materials were already on site and the concrete slab was poured prior to the submission of the 2nd revision for the Project. I was denied access to complete this portion of the project.HOMEOWNER knew there would be additional charges regarding the upcoming revision for the Project, and it could take weeks, or longer, to have the revision approved. Apparently, she invited another contractor to bid on finishing her project prior to submitting her 2nd revision to the building department. I did not have knowledge of this until I received the information from her attorney. There have not been any framing inspections as the framing portion of the Project has not been completed due to the changes from the revisions. I have built this project per the plans I have been provided by HOMEOWNER.There has not been a response from any parties as of today, October 13, 202
