    I reached out to **** Goodells agency for support as my home sustained significant damage on January 24. AFI adjuster didnt even come out to my home to assess the damage until February 19th.This agency is good at taking your money, but when you need support, you are left in the dark. I have been displaced from my home for nearly 2 months and have yet to receive a check for repairs from AFI.I reached out to ********************** in ***********, ** for support, and ***** from this branch was completely heartless and inconsiderate. Instead of telling me that he will reach out to corporate and see if theres anything he can do, he told me that I should reach out to a friend or a family member for a credit card. Seriously? I tell you that I have young children, and sick and need help repairing my home and you tell me to phone a friend? I am now facing the reality that I am more than likely going to be homeless due to the lack of communication, lack of good faith, handling, consistent delays, and no checks to begin repairs.I am seeking assistance from ******* Goodells office in handling this claim effective immediately.

    Hello *****- we are sorry for the frustration this claim has caused- any claim can be frustrating but ones that dont move forward as planned can be more so and with the devastating ice and resulting massive number of homes devastated by the storm in our area at that time, delays in repair/mitigation response were more significant than any of us could have expected.  Our insurance agency is sorry that we havent been able to meet your expectations.  Ensuring your privacy prevents us from fully addressing your concerns here but if you call our office we would be more than happy to have a conversation about expectations for the future.
