    I saw a Dr ********************** 3 times during the summer of 2023. I was double covered with **************** Healthcare at the time and she was in network with both. I put a card on file as she requested for my copays, **************************** I stopped seeing her after 3 visits when I became aware of her forgetfulness, unorganized & unprofessional behavior. She charged me in her office for a supplement that never arrived. When I emailed asking where it was she charged my card on file a second time. So I never went back. Fast forward to November 2024 I get a invoice in my email claiming United ******************** never paid her & simultaneously a random $560 charge to my bank account that was allocated to other bills and overdrew my checking account (pictured). I tried to fight it but because I put the card on file there was nothing my bank could do. I cancelled the debit card and also started a claim with my Regence. She claims the insurance never paid and my insurance says they never got any claims from her. Now this week I get an email from her with an invoice for the same amount saying I owe her $560. Today I open my mail and its a bill with a hand written card that says shes going to send me to collections if I dont send her a check (pictured). I was very upset and unsure what to do so I posted in my local ******** group where I found others that had the same issue with her (pictured). They advised to file a claim here, and a grievance with my insurance and also file a claim on the ********* I have filed all of these and now here on the BBB. I hope to get my money back, I hope to stop being harassed by her and I hope she can be stopping doing this to other people.

    Even though I saw this patient 3 times, and I billed both her insurances several times, none of her insurances covered my visit because I am practicing under the naturopathic doctor, not a medical doctor license. Its true that the amount I billed insurance is higher than what I billed the patient. To make it easier on the patient I billed only 240 for the first visit, and 160 for each follow up, bringing the total to 560. I guess being a small business owner an a naturopathic doctor is seen as a good target for not paying for services at all.

    In regards to Dr *********************** response;

    Please see attachment below for claim details on date of service for June ******* and July 19,2023

    Claim #: ********** & Claim #: ********** were denied due to TL meaning timely filing the provider did not submit the claim on time. There is a claim that was processed for Date of Service August ****** claim was completed under Claim #: 8262756501

    I attached EOB's (explanation of benefits) so you can look into the details of the claim.

    Also,  her response does not explain why AFTER deducting unauthorized funds from my checking account paying herself for these visits, she continues to send me bills and letters for the same amount claiming she wasn't paid and threatening to send me to collections.

    I am rejecting this response because: this document is to UHC which was my secondary insurance. Not primary which is Regence. Regence claims they didnt receive timely filing. Dr. ********************** was not authorized to withdraw funds from my account and she certainly should not still me claiming that I still owe her money and threatening to send me to collections. (Pictured in previous attachments).

    Sincerely,

    I billed both ****************** and United healthcare Insurance for the 3 visits in a timely fashion

    None of the insurances paid for the office visits

    At this point I feel so disillusioned with the whole harassment process (******* ****** filed a claim to my naturopathic board, so I had to spend all this time to find all her paperwork from 3 years ago and submit it), that I am happy to refund her the money and offer ******* the 3 doctor visits for free
