      My wife and I appoed to rent a home on 4/17/2025 thru a property company names ********************. As per usual, there is a screening/background check requirement when you submit an application. We filled out our paperwork and submitted on the above date mentioned. Within an hour we both recieved emails and texts saying we needed to provide certain documents. We did this, resubmitted and waited. We again got more texts and emails stating we needed even morw documentation to proceed. They gave us phone numbers to reach them ar for questions, we called probably a dozen times and left voicemails wach time as there was no answer or callback. We waited, we called again, and so on. We needed to speak with a real person to rell them the documents we sent could not be provided for a specific reason, we never got thru to anyone. Come Monday 4/21/2025, we both received emails stating we were denied due to not providing the documentation the system asked for. I then called and left a voicemail about this and how we feel were were cheated out of not only a place to live, but our $120 for the applications. I was dalled back within an hour only to hear oh sorry youre denied, take it up with the rental company . Well, we are extremely frustrated because if they would have called us back or even attempted to, we could have told them the documents would not send and possibly have been accepted for the house. We were treated unfairly and the woman that called us back was extremely rude. It feels as if they were deliberately not calling us back. We would like our application money refunded immediately.

      I never received any other mailed notices.  If these were emailed they did not reach me and ended up deleted or in spam.

      Applicant was screened for an apartment.  Applicant indicated on his application that he was employed.  Applicant is not employed, but provided documents as if he was employed.  Our staff had to confirm with him (contacted him).  Applicant followed up with explanation and issue was resolved.  She all notes provided.  This application screening was fairly simple.  

      We noted one voicemail message.  If indeed he called 12x we would have certainly noted it.  We had everything we needed on 4/18/25. No further contact was made to the applicant.  Our crime searches took longer based on activity in two states.  Each email or text message we provide has a response link to use.  It is similar to the link I used to respond to this complaint.  

      The application was denied for multiple reasons (income was not the issue)

       - Low Credit Score (419, this is low)

       - Negative Credit exceeding requirements of the property (past due debt)

       - Utility Debt (2x not paying utilities is a big concern for apartments since they have to pay those balances left owing) 

       - No rental history verified (we asked applicant to help and prove good payments since his landlord would not speak to us)

       - "....I agree and acknowledge that I will cooperate with Pacific Screening with any additional information or verification needed to complete my application. If the application is not
      complete, missing important information or I fail to cooperate my application may be denied. I agree and acknowledge that the screening charge is NON REFUNDABLE regardless of the results of the
      screening. Whether I am approved, approved with conditions or denied for the rental unit or if I am no longer interested in the rental unit, no refund will be provided."

       this is scam company, they take your money and never intend to actually contact you about the documents needed. I said NOT EMPLOYED in the application. Shady business, stay away

      This company said I had an eviction because I misunderstood her question to me. No where on court docs does it have my social security number or date of birth. I asked them to help and she would not help me was rude. I have emailed to ask about docs to try to provide and no response doesnt not answer the phone to correct thier error.
