ALERT!!! SERVICE WAS NOT DONE AT THIS FACILITY, HOWEVER, THE OWNER FROM THE WHITEHALL LOCATION OWNS THIS SITE TOO! BEWARE OF HORRIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICES. TAKING THIS PLACE TO COURT FOR FRAUDULENT PRACTICES. THE INJUSTICE IS REAL! SEE THE ATTACHED PICTURES. THERE WAS CONSTANT BRAKE NOISE AND VIBRATION BECAUSE THE MECHANICS NEVER CHANGED THE OLD HARDWARE, USED CHEAP AFTERMARKET BRAKES/ROTORS AND THEY USED AN EXCESSIVE AMOUNT OF BRAKE GREASE WHICH COULD HAVE CAUSED MAJOR DAMAGE TO MY VEHICLE LONG TERM! THESE ARE AFTERMARKET ROTORS AND BRAKES! MIDAS WILL NOT OWN UP TO THE FACT THAT THEY INSTALLED AFTERMARKET PARTS ON MY CAR AND FALSIFIED THE INVOICE STATING THEY INSTALLED OEM KIA EQUIPMENT WHICH BREACHES THE WARRANTY THAT COMES WITH THE PARTS.. THE REGIONAL/DISTRICT MANAGER AND STORE OWNER WERE ALL UNCOOPERATIVE. PEOPLE PLEASE BE SKEPTICAL OF THIS PLACE AND ALWAYS GET A SECOND OPINION.

This customer never had work done at this Midas shop - his brake work was done at our Whitehall shop. We tried working with this customer on his brakes on multiple occasions at no additional cost to him. The customer states that we "never changed the old hardware", which is not true. We have receipts to show what we paid for these parts. We change brake pads and rotors on multiple occasions - again at no cost to the customer. My mechanics finally concluded that this customer must ride his brakes - every time he comes in, his brakes are smoking hot. This is not normal. We do many brake jobs and don't see this very often. After many discussions with my manager and myself, I agreed to reimburse this customer the full cost of the initial job that was done on his brakes and he told me that if I did that, he would never hear from him again. Apparently, that isn't the case. What more can we do for this customer? We went above and beyond for this customer and between labor and parts, we are out thousands of dollars trying to make him happy. Both of our shops have experienced mechanics that take pride in their work and we don't rip off customers by charging them for parts that they are not receiving.
